Making your Faith Promise requires dependence on God as

you step out in faith in response to His call to be light in a dark world. Committing to a Faith Promise is a process that should include much prayer and thought.

When you make a Faith Promise pledge, your commitment helps to ensure that Alliance church planters and international workers

will be points of light in the lives of lost and hurting people around the world. God has called us to “live as children of light” (Ephesians 5:8). As we shine the light of Jesus into the lives of those who are bound by the powers of darkness, they are finding freedom in Christ through Alliance ministries.

•Every four minutes, someone prays to receive Christ through Alliance outreaches.

•Every week, nearly 3,000 new believers are baptized.

•Every year, nearly 10,000 students are trained and equipped for ministry through 125 overseas Alliance theological schools.

Your Faith Promise commitment is a point of light that will shine into spiritual darkness through the efforts of Alliance people as they glorify God by building Christ’s Church worldwide. Let your light shine!

Editor’s Note: Neither your church nor the National Office uses your Faith Promise card for budgeting purposes.

The Faith Promise is a financial commitment to give to the Great Commission Fund (GCF) that you believe God will enable you to

fulfill. The “faith” part comes from relying on God to provide for the “promise” you believe He is calling you to make.

The Great Commission Fund (GCF) allows individual Alliance people to participate in outreach to the world. When you give to

the GCF, you are helping to support Alliance workers as they follow God’s call to be light in spiritually dark places.

Giving to the GCF is your opportunity to reach the world for Christ. You participate, along with thousands of other Alliance people, in sending international workers and church planters who shine the light of Jesus on your behalf.

AFaith Promise commitment should be entered into with much prayer and reflection. Consider the commitment as a process of

looking back at God’s faithfulness to you and your family during the past year and trusting in Him to provide in order to fulfill His purposes through us.

Pray and reflect on God’s faithfulness; then begin to pray through the process noted on the previous page.

After much prayer and reflection, I/we commit to partner with

Alliance ministries by giving to the Great Commission Fund.

Your Faith Promise provides support for the Alliance

international team of workers, evangelism, training for national

pastors, U.S. church-planting grants, and more.

Return this part in your church’s offering on Missions

Conference Sunday.

Trusting in God to provide, I/we will give $ in 2011/2012 to the Great Commission Fund.

Name

Remember . . . your Faith Promise is a partnership between you and God—you have committed to a faith venture and depend on Him to provide the means to fulfill it.

Gifts to the Great Commission Fund are tax deductible. Thank you for giving through your local Alliance church. Please keep

this flyer as a reminder of your commitment to God.

RegulAR ConTRibuTions HAve signifiCAnT iMpACT MONTHLY ANNUALLY WEEKLY ANNUALLY $500 = $6,000 $25 = $1,300

I/we will give $ in 2011–12 to the Great Commission Fund.

Think of your contributions in terms of the impact they will make. For example, a monthly gift of $200 = $2,400 annually. As you see God provide for your Faith Promise goal, this encouragement will reinforce your monthly giving goal.
