POINT OF VIEWDetails about Your Scene:
- Chapter 1- Begins with first sentence of story through the paragraph beginning with “A stone had smashed
into Jimmie’s mouth…”
FIRST: Identify the type of narrator the author wrote based on the categories in your reading and those which have been discussed in class.
SECOND: Change “camera angles” with the character you were assigned. If the story was actually
narrated by the character your group was assigned, HOW would the story be changed? DISCUSS with group.
THIRD: Determine where your new narrator would fall on the scales provided in regards to the four
categories discussed. Be prepared to explain WHY you chose that number. Use examples from the text to support your group’s decision.
