Workshop, DBD Workshop, or Dance - What's the difference? A "Workshop" is for working on dance skills. For example, the Caller might stop the dancering to brush-up on troublesome calls, or to teach fun

figures to be used in the evening dance.

A "DBD Workshop" stands for Dance-By-Definition, which may involve starting a call at unusual positions.

A "Dance" is for all the fun & rewards of dancing. The Caller is unlikely to stop midway through a tip, unless most squares break down.
