fresh start fo r the paper - - possib ly an interregnum may be
involved.
I expect you have got your papers by now, So I need not '
cover the ground they cover. Behind the scenes the l.C .U .
Secretary, who when a l l is said is vain and anxious fo r lime-
l ign t, thc-ugn not yet a bad lo t, is coming under the influence
of reactionaries, including Champion who is now host ile , and
quite a coolness now p reva ils between us. But i t would be
quite a topsy turvy event i f the mass he represents should be
