Agronomy Blog
- This is a screen shot I took directly from our website to show you how to access it if you haven’t seen this before.
- Our Agronomy blog is where we post all in season notes, pics and updates. So if you guys are looking for in season information this is a tool that you have access to on our website.
Compendium
- This winter we released our first ever compendium. It was a lot of work for our agronomy staff but we wanted to put all our data together as a tool for you guys to use on your farm to ultimately help you be more successful in your operation. We will be putting together and releasing a compendium every winter.

Grower Meetings
- You don’t want to miss our field days. We have 2 every summer – one in Genesee and the other up North. We will be alternating our Northern field day from Fairfield to Oakesdale every other year, so this year it will be in Oakesdale.
- We will also be applying for pesticide credits at our field days starting this year so if anything come for those and of course Jake Gelineau’s Delicious steak lunch
- Our goal is to eventually have enough years of data to make our whole grower meeting be revolved around our compendium.
- We will be alternating our grower meetings from North to South every other year so next year plan for it to be at the Coeur D’ Alene Casino.

Weather Stations
➢ Genesee, Colfax, and Fairfield
➢ Creating Weather Reports on our website
Weather Stations
➢ Volumetric Water Content: Water volume/ soil volume
➢ Vapour Pressure Deficit: Amount of moisture air can hold – amount of moisture in air
➢ Wet Bulb: Measures temperature read by thermometer covered in water-soaked cloth over which air is passed.
➢ Delta T: Air Temperature – wet bulbThe lower the Delta T the higher the humidity
➢ Relative Humidity: Amount of water vapor present in air expressed as a percentage of amount needed for saturation at same temperature
➢ Dew Point: Atmospheric temperature below which water droplets begin to condense and dew can form
