Project Title
May AIDS Sila, Te Ano?!
Objectives
General
-Instill practice of healthy lifestyle, and inculcation of humanitarian values.
Specific
1. To enhance HIV/AIDS awareness of the PNU-V community through a variety show in cooperation
with Teatro Dagway Ensemble.
2. To promote anti-bullying campaign for HIV/AIDS victims.
3. To raise funds for Adopt-a-School program.
Background
May AIDS Sila, Te Ano?! is a theatre show by the Teatro Dagway Ensemble to be spearheaded and
sponsored by PNU-Visayas CRCY. Teatro Dagway Ensemble is a performing group known as advocates of anti-
bullying campaign. This year, TDE and PNU-V CRCY planned to collaborate in a show that would clarify issues
and hearsays about HIV/AIDS victims to promote anti-bullying campaign.
This activity is in accordance to the Outcomes Based Co-Curricular Program of the university in which
organizations having almost same objectives will have to collaborate in an activity to maximize use of resources
and develop camaraderie in the sharing of talents and skills.
With the help of the Student Government, each student will be required to buy at least 1 ticket.
The proceeds of the activity from tickets costing (P15.00) will be used for the Adopt-a-school program of
the council in GK Sibol, Sagay City.
Adopt-A-School is a program promoted by the Department of Education in which an organization within
a bigger school adopts a smaller school and help in the facility of quality education to the children in whatever
assistance the organization can provide that is deemed beneficial to the goal of the program. The program
envisions to build a community helping hand in hand on quality education delivery that would resolve the
problem on poverty in the near future.
PNU-Visayas CRCY, as a humanitarian organization of youth leaders, within the institution known to be
The National Center for Teacher Education, believes that an effective way to uplift human dignity is through
educating the community, especially the children who are the most vulnerable, yet to be the future leaders.
