1. Introduction

This is a brief documentation on the most important functions of the Preventive Maintenance System. Topics covered in this document include the following:

• Logging in to the system

• Admin Menu Maintenance

• Change Password Maintenance

• All available Master’s pages

• Set Yearly Schedule

• Actual Workload

• Reporting

2. System Log In

This section discusses on log-in procedure of PM System.

1. Open Your Internet Browser, point to address system

2. You will see the User Login screen in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Input User ID and Password and click the Submit button.

3. System Administration This section describes functions for administration of PM. Admin Menu will allow user to add or modify a user. This menu will only be available if the Login user Login is determined as an Administrator.

3.1 User Register

This menu will allow user to add a new user or maintain existing user.

3.1.1 Creating a new user

To create a new user, click User Register menu, then user will be directed to Add/Edit Record.

Before clicked Submit button to add the new user, the user must define the new user’s group(s). This group(s) will be used to determine pages that can be access by the user.

3.1.2 View/Edit/Delete Existing User

To view User Information an existing user, user needs to click Edit Link on the right column. After that system will display data with inputted criteria.

To delete a user, user can clicked on Delete button,

To edit a user, that will same with page display when we want to add a new user. The edit page functions in the same way as the Add Record page. All fields may be changed.

Add New/Edit and Delete User form

Following is a description of the fields for Add/Edit function:

Field Name Description

User ID User’s log in ID.

User Group Groups of User Access page

Employee No User’s employee number

User Name Name of user.

Department User’s Department

Email User’s Email address

Note Remark

Password User’s password. Administrator is to create a default password (123456) and inform user

4. Change Password This menu will allow current Login user to change the password of their PM account. To view this sub menu, click Change Password on The left menu.

There is no rule of password required.

5. Configuration This section contains Configuration menu. To access, click on Configuration on the left menu.

5.1 Plant Configuration

To manage the Plant code master, click on New Plant item on Configuration menu, by default will display existing company plant.

Add/edit Company Code Page will display when user want to add or edit company code. The edit page functions in the same way as the Add Record page. All fields may be changed in Add Mode, Click Submit when finish creating/updating record

5.2 Activity

To manage the Activity code master, click on Activity � Summary item on Configuration menu. By default will return all Activity Code that available.

Add/Edit Activity code

Add/edit Activity Code Page will display when user want to add or edit Activity Code. The edit page functions in the same way as the Add Record page. Click Submit when finish creating/updating record.

5.3 Department

To manage the Department master, click on Department � Summary item on Configuration menu. By default, it will display all of Department.

5.3.1 View Department Code

To view existing Department, user needs to input Search Criteria then click Search button in the screen. After that system will display data with inputted criteria.

5.3.2 Add/Edit/Delete Department Code

Add/edit Department Code Page will display when user want to add or Edit. The edit page functions in the same way as the Add Record page. All fields may be changed in Add Mode, Click Submit when finish creating/updating record.

5.4 Technician

To manage the PM Technician, click on Technician � Summary item on Configuration menu. By default, it will display all of technicians exist.

5.4.1 View all existing Technician

By Default Screen it’s will show all of existing Technician

5.4.2 Add/Remove Technician

This screen is available to add and remove existing Technician,

5.5 Line Configuration

To manage the Line master, click on Line � Line Summary on Configuration menu. By default, it will display all Production line.

5.5.1 View Line Production Master

To view existing Line Master, user needs to Click Line Summary Menu, After that system will display all existing data.

5.5.2 Add/Edit/Delete Line Master

This screen is available to add, edit and remove existing Line.

5.6 Sub Line Configuration

To manage the Sub line, click on Subline � Subline Summary item on Configuration menu. By default, it will display all existing Subline.

5.6.1 Add New SubLine

To Add New Subline user needs to Click Add New button, then Click Submit when Finish

5.6.2 Edit/Delete SubLine Master

To Edit/Delete existing SubLine Master, user needs to click edit button in the screen.

5.7 Maintainable Equipment Master

To manage the Maintainable Equipment master, click on Maintainable Equipment � New Equipment on Master menu. By default, it will display all Existing Item.

5.7.1 Add New Maintainable Equipment

To Add new Maintainable Equipment, user needs to Click Add New button or New Equipment Menu on the left menu, then Click Submit when Finish.

5.7.2 Edit/Delete Maintainable Equipment Master

To Edit/Delete existing Maintainable Equipment Master, user needs to click edit Link in the screen, details information will appear on above form. Click Submit when Finish or Click Delete to remove it.

5.8 Equipment Task Configuration

To manage the Equipment Task, click on Task Master � Summary on Configuration menu. By default, it will display all existing Task List.

5.8.1 Add New Task

To Add new Task, user needs to Choose Equipment first then click Add new button in the screen. After that system will display Input Task, user able to entry the Equipment task, Click Submit button to Finish

5.8.2 Edit/Delete Equipment Task

To edit equipment task just click edit link on the screen, Click Submit when finish, Click Delete button to Remove.

5.9 Setting Master

To manage Option Setting master, click on Option � Setting on Configuration menu. By default, it will display all value of Formula.

There are 2 Settings; those are the Fixed Setting with each function,

6. Bench Master

This section will allow user to maintain Bench Master. To access these functions, click Bench Master on the left menu. Then will displayed submenu below.

6.1 New Bench

To Register a Bench, click New Bench on the Bench Master menu at the left panel. By Default it will display existing bench

6.3 Set Bench Task

Each Bench have to a Task List, to manage Bench task user have 2 options;

1. Manual Entry

2. Upload File

6.3.1 Set Bench Task by Manual Entry

To Set Bench task by manual Entry, Click on Set Bench Task � Entry on Bench Master Menu,

6.3.1.1 Add New Task

To Add New Task Choose a Bench Number, All Bench Number will appear in this option, then Click Add new button

The New Task Form will appear, completing the entry form, Click Submit to finish

6.3.1.2 Edit/Delete Bench Task

To edit existing Bench Task, Choose the Bench number then click Add New button,

The New Form will appear then Choose an equipment, all existing equipment task will display on the table below, see picture

Click Edit, then you able to modified Bench task, Click Submit button to Finish

Click Delete button if you want to remove existing task.

6.4 Set Bench Task by Upload

To Set Bench task by Upload the file, Click Upload File on Bench Master menu item,

Choose a Bench number then click Submit, the Option will showing the bench number are not set task list yet.

Next Page will appear, Click browse to get your file (*.csv) , Click Submit button to go to the next page.

7. PM Schedule

This section contains functions to Set Schedule and querying of Schedule Workload details. To access these functions, click Schedule on the left menu. Then will displayed submenu below.

7.1 Setup Next Schedule

To Setup Next Year Schedule, click on Next on left menu.

On this Screen User able to setup the schedule for the next year, After clicking Submit button, system will auto generate Master setting, that will followed previous Schedule setting

7.2 Set Activity Target

To Set Activity target, click on Workload Config ���� Set Activity Target on PM Schedule Menu.

7.3 Set Bench

Before Scheduling the bench, The bench exist have to registered on the Years activity, To Register bench, Click Workload Config � Set Bench on left menu. By Default page will display all existing bench, Tick then bench you want register then click Submit to Finish

7.4 Set Person In charge

To Set Person In charge, click on Workload Config ���� Set Person InCharge on PM Schedule Menu. By Default it will display existing Technician.

Uncheck is mean Unregistered

To Register New technician, Choose a technician then Click submit to finish.

7.5 Department Balance

To Set Department Balance, click on Workload Config ���� Department Balance on PM Schedule Menu. By Default it will display all registered bench with it is workload.

7.6 Person Balance

To display Person balance page, click on Person Balance on sub menu Workload Config Menu. By default it will display all Workload person balance and graph with Bar Chart

To Set Weekly Balance, Click on Weekly Balance on Workload Config menu, By Default page will displayed weekly schedule.

To Set Weekly balance, Choose number of Week on the option box, then system auto generate schedule as your setting.

8. Personal Weekly Schedule

This Section contain user weekly schedule, to access these function, please login using User Group “User”, system will auto generate user menu, user name will appear on Left menu, Click User Name on the left menu, By default it will display weekly schedule per user.

By Default this page will showing Schedule information per person, workload schedule per week, Actual Schedule Done and Link to entry form

8.2 Add/Edit Actual Workload

To add/Delete schedule, Click workload value on User schedule, fill in Actual time values, to finish click Submit.

9. Report

This section contains PM report. To access these functions, click Report on the top menu. Then will displayed submenu below.

Report contains information of Plan Bench Quantity and Actual Bench Quantity, to access this report, Click PM Plan vs Actual � PM Status by Bench on Report menu on the left menu,

Appendix A – Creating PM System Shortcut

<NOTE: This section is for creating shortcut to directly access PM System>

This section discusses on the creation of shortcut to PM System.

The steps to create the shortcut are as follows:

1. Right-click on the desktop. Choose New ���� Shortcut.

2. In the Type the location of the item: box, type the following address:

http://PMServer/PM/

Click Next > button.

(Please note that the above address is subject to change.)

3. In the Type a new for this shortcut: box, type PM System.

Click the Finish button.
