SWISS KRONO Once Again Expands Product Offering for DOMOTEX 2018

January 2018 – The world’s largest producer of laminate flooring is a goldmine for

those looking for personalised home decorations: “Our new decors and surfaces are

ideal for flexibly turning individual wishes and living styles into reality,” says Max von

The SWISS KRONO GROUP also showcased its comprehensive range of healthy

laminate floors produced in Germany, Poland, Russia and Switzerland at the world’s

leading trade fair for flooring. Here are the highlights:

KRONOTEX: a Clear Line Spanning Various Wood Looks

The KRONOTEX collections from Germany excel with both traditional and striking

modern decors, three new embossed-in-register surfaces and an innovative surface

structure dubbed Allover Mattblech. The new Mountain Oak decor of the MAMMUT

PLUS collection comes in four different colours. In addition, Eiche Rusikal (Oak Rustic)

of the ROBUST collection debuted, setting new standards with its pronounced visual

and tactile depth and ten plank versions with different grains and colouring. Also new

were a chestnut decor and a walnut style, both embossed-in-register with charming

hues. The MEGA PLUS collection includes an eye-catching fishbone decor.

The rooms collection now comprises no fewer than 26 decors and has also gained a

new format: the panels of the Penthouse collection now measure 10 x 244 x 1380mm,

following the trend towards large formats. Three of the decors are equipped with a

prominent embossed-in-register structure.

The MY FLOOR also sports new decors with names like Hidraulic Tile, Edison Oak and

Arendal. The collections can already be ordered from retailers using the online shop

that was recently integrated into the MY FLOOR website.

KRONOSWISS: Striking Light-and-Dark Contrasts

The Swiss Floors Collection boasts a variety of contrast-rich decors, each of which

excels with an effective mix of light and dark hues.

SWISS AQUASTOP 48 h also premiered at the show. Floors bearing this label can be

exposed to liquids for up to about 48 hours without staining, warping or otherwise

suffering any damage. An extended HELVETIC FLOORS programme was also presented,

with five rustic birch decors in the Mountain Home Collection and an entirely new Lake

View Collection with six extraordinary decors featuring a trendy mix of colours. All of

them boast embossed-in-register surfaces.

KRONOPOL: Stratochome Technology for Extreme Ruggedness

The Polish branch of SWISS KRONO displayed various collections under the KRONOPOL

floors brand name, including AURUM, PLATINIUM, BLACKPOOL and FERRUM.

PLATINIUM alone features more than 20 new designs and structures as well as a sub-

collection called TERRA with 8mm-thick panels and abrasion resistance class AC5. The

surfaces have an innovative used-look wood structure produced using 3D

Stratochrome technology. These laminate floors are exceedingly robust and show

virtually no signs of wear even after years of use. SWISS KRONO Poland is also one of

the first manufacturers to launch a walnut decor with 3D embossed-in-register

structure, which debuted at Domotex. The brand new BLACKPOOL collection comes in

244mm-wide panels.

KRONOSTAR: Extensive Additions to the Standard Collections

The product range of the Russian SWISS KRONO subsidiary has been expanded to a

total of 40 different decors, including 27 brand new ones available in thicknesses

between seven and 12mm. The Galaxy and Eventum collections were also unveiled at

Domotex. The Eventum panels sport an attractive large format with a width of 244mm.

The highlights also include three new oak decors, called Terra, Sky and Fire, with

embossed-in-register surfaces that are lovely to touch and behold.
