1. Start and finish area The start and finish area is located in Jonsered at Fabriksstråket 35, 433 76 Jonsered. There will be access to water, toilet and some changing facilities. It is recommended that you are ready for race upon arrival since the space is limited. After the race you will have access to shower and sauna. You will be able to leave a post race bag for storage during the race. The bag will be stored in a locked room during the race.

Parking for cars will be available on the area marked with a P on the map. Local train arrives at Jonsereds Station. The recommended train arrives at 07:22 (TÅG 3528) or 08:22 (TÅG 3532) for the 61k race. Check the time schedule at www.vasttrafik.se

Runner checkout on Le Mat

Maximum time to complete the race is 12 hours. This means that the goal closes at 21:00 on Saturday the 27th. Each checkpoint will have a cut-of time, see section 4, checkpoints.

Everybody who finishes within this time will be awarded a finisher medal in bronze with a blue ribbon, and they will also be awarded with 3 ITRA points.

3. The course The course runs over 61 km, where the majority of the track is single trail. The course will be marked with RED and BLUE ribbons.

The runner is responsible for taking the correct route, and it is highly recommended that you study the course beforehand. The race organisation can not guarantee that all markings are left intact throughout the entire course.

The course runs in sensitive nature, and littering is strictly prohibited. The runner is responsible for bringing the trash to the next checkpoint.

The marked course has some minor changes to not disturb landowners. It is recommended that you download the .gpx on the link below for the latest version. This version will also be updated during the week before the race if there are any other changes.

4. Timing & tracking Each runner must have the BIB number visible, and it is the runners responsibility to make sure that they are checked of before entering the checkpoint.

The timing of the race starts at the same time for all participants, at 09:00 on Saturday the 27th of April. The timing will be made manually in a race timing app.

Top 3 runners in each category will be determined by time, and in case of a tight race, the race director have the final say to determine podium finishes. Other places are preliminary, and can be corrected during up to a week after the race.

Intermediate times will be taken at each checkpoint. There might also be more timing points during the course, and if so, these will be mentioned during the race briefing.

4. Checkpoints There will be 3 checkpoints along the course. They will be manned and they will have access to water, energy drinks, snacks and in some cases food. Some of the checkpoints will have access to toilets. It is important that you contact the race representatives and make shure that they note your BIB number. This is the only way to make shure that you passed the checkpoint.

6. Toiletpaper

7. Rules & regulation We do not request a health certificate or equivalent to start the race. Each runner participates at his own risk.

The runner is responsible for navigating right along the track. If the runner differs from the specified course in such a way that this has gained an advantage, the runner will be fined a punishment in the form of a time extension.

If the runner has otherwise attempted to gain an advantage in an unauthorised manner, the corresponding time extensions will be added. Multiple violations will lead to disqualification.

Every runner has an obligation to help other runners in distress.

Every runner is obliged not to throw trash along the race. Rubbish should be thrown on controls or in junk baskets along the lane.

The competition jury’s decision applies. You can of course have the opportunity to complain of a decision by the competition jury.

8. Pacers & personal aid stations Pacers are allowed throughout the entire course. Pacers are there to help the runner keep the pace, and to navigate the course. Pacers can not carry any equipment, liquid or food for the runner.

Personal aid stations are allowed throughout the course, as long as they leave the place litter-free. As personal aid counts food and liquids, not equipment. The runner can not leave any of the obligatory equipment behind at a personal aid-station.
