Theories of development can help caregivers understand how to best work with children. Some of the most prominent theories include the eight stages of Piaget’s cognitive development theory and the four stages of Piaget’s cognitive development theory. Vygotsky claimed that children learn through social and cultural expression. Gardner cultural expression. Gardner developed a theory of multiple intelligences used by the human brain. All these theories provide insight into children’s development.

High school students will create an activity book with a variety of activities suitable for the 3 and 4 year olds to practice their skills over the summer. (part of final exam grade.)

This is completed at home and presented to the preschool children during the graduation ceremony.
