FROM THE PASTOR
Please note that I will be away from toward the end of this week, in order to attend the ordination to the priesthood of Deacons Michael Cellars and Will Frei. Please remember to keep both of these new priests for the Diocese of Charleston in your prayers. As I will be away, please note that there will be NO DAILY MASSES on Thursday, July 9 and Friday, July 10. Construction update: The interior of the addition to St. Bernadette is nearing completion -- of course, there are always some small details to which attention must be paid, but it is getting close. On the exterior, bricklaying has been proceeding slowly, but hopefully we will begin seeing the pace on that increase. There's also exterior site lighting, some grading and paving, sidewalks, etc. left to do. But we are getting close to completion. Once more, I'd like to express my thanks and gratitude to all of you who have made this possible by your generous pledges and gifts to the Bicentennial Capital Campaign. We wouldn't be able to do this without your support. Also, a reminder that we still have about three and a half years to fulfill our pledges, and it is important that we do so to the best of our ability -- those pledges are what is paying for the construction and for the very nice, new facility which we will soon be enjoying as a parish. Fr. Tebalt JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

THE KNIGHTS’ CORNER
Our Mission as Catholic Men “What is God calling Catholic men to do today? He’s calling Catholic men to do what he’s always called them to do–to take responsibility for their families, to help their neighbors in need, to provide for defense and support of their Church, to love their
country and to defend it, and to work and manage their business with integrity. “We are called to make sure our councils are places where this can happen, and to make sure that every Catholic man understands that the Knights of Columbus is where he can become a better husband, a better father, a better parishioner and a better citizen. That’s our mission. *
