Bring in canned goods between December 1st and December 12th. The school who raises the most canned goods/non-perishable food items will receive a free pizza party courtesy of Edwardo’s Pizza and Subs.

Don’t Miss This Event!!! Come see 5th grade GATES students become human statues to tell the stories of Veterans they interviewed.

Fifth grade GATES students from both Northern and Southern Elementary will be presenting a “Night at the Museum” on Tuesday, November 25th at the Pendleton County Public Library. The event is scheduled from 5:30 – 6:30. The students have interviewed Veterans and created monologues to represent the Veteran they spoke to. During this event, the students will become human statues as they strike a pose dressed as the hero they represent. Each statue will spring to life when approached and speak to the public as the Veteran, telling many fascinating stories of military life and coming home from war. The students would love to share this event with the community as all are invited. Refreshments will be provided by the Sharp Middle School and Pendleton County High School KJHS members
