• formatting instruction
• Submit a log that tracks the progress of your experiment and contains reflections about the process once every two weeks
• you can use a journal, a GoogleDoc, a video log, etc.
• Create a final presentation and display board due April 15th
• board must include: a title and your name, problem statement or project description, methods/procedure, materials, pictures or graphs, results, discussion/analysis, conclusion, any physical result
Examples...• Biology: scan the life stages of a living organism, on the SEM, and explain
each stage in detail • Environmental Science: print the parts for a wind turbine on the 3D printer
and assemble the turbine • Economics: predict patterns of stocks using computer programs like
NetLogo, StarLogo, Python,C++, etc.• English: extend your board for Hillary’s class, research (in depth) the history
of a book from her class and produce graphs with some data that you found regarding that time period. Ex: “The
• Grapes of Wrath”. For this book research • how many people lost jobs during that • time, or the infant mortality during the • depression
Examples...
• History: program and track the effects of any war or disease on a• population• Geometry: print geometric shapes on the 3D printer (this requires• learning how to use SolidWorks)• Algebra: graphing or analyzing data• SciTech: build a model of the solar system using a program or using the 3D
printer • Physical Science: track your average work • done over a 10 day period, create a video• example of this and voice over it
Lab Hours
