DAY 1 – Arrive in ChicagoChicago is America’s third largest city and boasts a friendly, Midwestatmosphere. For those arriving early, your hotel is close to the LakeMichigan waterfront. Visit one of Chicago’s great museums or strollalong the “Magnificent Mile.” Your Tour Manager is available in thelobby at 6:00 p.m. to assist with check-in and can offer suggestionsfor dining this evening.

DAY 2 – Chicago to WisconsinThis morning, begin the day with a panoramic tour of downtownChicago with a local guide. See Millennium Park featuring the“Bean,” Michigan Avenue and views of Lake Michigan. Leave the bigcity behind for Wisconsin’s charming Door County. Your waterfronthotel offers outstanding views of Sturgeon Bay. Tonight, your TourManager hosts a Door County specialty, an authentic Fish Boil din-ner that is as much fun to watch as it is to eat. DAY 3 – Exploring Door CountyToday is filled with the charm of Door County. DAY 5 –Shipwreck Tour and Mackinac Island’s Grand HotelThe day begins with a Shipwreck Tour aboard a Glass Bottom Boaton Lake Superior. See a rare, fully intact, pre-civil war wooden sail-ing ship in this unique underwater museum. Heading to St. Ignacewhere our ferry to Mackinac Island awaits. Upon arrival, a horse-drawn carriage (no cars are allowed on the island) brings you to thecrown jewel of Mackinac Island, The Grand Hotel, the world’slargest summer hotel, built in 1897, and your home for the next twonights. DAY 6 – Explore Mackinac Island and Private LectureA visit to Mackinac Island is a like a trip back in time. From its bluffcottages to its quaint horse-drawn carriages, this peaceful resort is-land offers a glimpse into life during a simpler and more genteel era.You will have the entire day at leisure on Mackinac Island. evergreens form a ceiling over the road with their interwovencrowns. In the quint town of Charlevoix we see the architecturalcollection of self-taught builder Earl Young known as the Mush-room Houses. DAY 8 – Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Frederick Meijer GardensBegin your day exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshorethat was named for an Indian legend.
