We want to find out two things:
Should Sony keep producing the Playstation3 console?
Which applications/features can be improved or redesigned to compliment PS3’s additional benefits?
Compiled 30 surveys and distributed to college males ages 18-26

3 Literature review articles helped us out with survey
Likert scale questions were brought upon because of Literature review
Time table of survey: Nov. 21- Nov. 30 Literature review made us realize the reason
PS3 ranks third in consoles behind Nintendo Wii and XBOX360
Did not have a large enough sample size We were limited to a certain amount of
questions and feedback due to the quantitative nature of the survey
Our restrictions on gender (surveying males) gave us a one-sided view on the market

People enjoy backwards capability because of the convenience of using old PS2 games

Added Recommendation Benefits –
Capture market share for the company
Build customer interest and attract new customers
Existing products can be very helpful to their company image by people who use their product.
Bluetooth and Media Sharing – New to the market and misunderstood Introduce incentives such as price discounts on new
headsets when purchasing a newly released game ▪ Gets people in the door and curious about what the headset
actually does.
Construct an interface with the Playstation Network▪ User friendly and solves user’s problems about accessories
and features
This interface will also develop a walk through that gives people more understanding about how media sharing is used
Providing backwards compatibility as a added feature to the new systems

Build sales of a very stagnant

visually appealing
We think that these recommendations would support Playstation’s overall image by customers and promote positive growth in new market segments and also existing ones
