Mounted parallel to the drive unit, andlocated up inside the truck's frame, itsdrive motor is positioned under thefloorboard just below the operator’sfeet, to defend against debris and otherenvironmental elements, while itspump motor is positioned behind thebattery box, protected inside the truck’scounterweight.

Reduced Tire WearSolid pneumatic tires are more re-sistant to wear or damage causedby dock plates or pavement. Widedrive tires are standard on the QX Series 6,000 lb. model, and optional on smaller capacities.

It’s unique size and tightturning radius put the QXSeries’ footprint squarelybetween an I.C. cushion andpneumatic tire forklift, whileits low center of gravity results in greater capacityretention. Solid pneumatictires provide operators witha more comfortable ride both indoors and out. Selectthe QX50L for extended run times.

Operator Presence SystemThe QX Series promotes safe operation with a Mast-Lock Systemdesigned to prevent unintentionalmast and fork movement once theoperator leaves the seat. There’s alsoa return-to-neutral feature, seatbeltwarning and alarm to alert the operator when the parking brake isn’tengaged before exiting the truck.

The QX also includes controlled rollback, ensuring the truck will onlyreverse slowly at a constant speed if the accelerator is released while ona grade.

Productivity at Your FingertipsAn adjustable armrest with electronic fingertip control isavailable as an option. Choose between a single joystick for simultaneous lift/tilt or our multi-lever design to further customizeyour QX.

Only available with multi-lever fingertip control, the optionalauto-tilt leveling feature brings the forks horizontal at thetouch of a button, enabling the operator to quickly and easily position the forks for greater efficiency.

Its built-in test module provides a simple means for technicians to analyze current conditions. The QX Series’ hydraulic pump motor powers the truck’s lift and steering systems. Nissan Forklift offers this as a standard feature to reduce wearable parts and eliminate the need for a separate steering motor. The multi-function LCD provides a wealth of information at a glance for quick operational statusand maintenance activities.

At the heart of the QX Seriesis Nissan’s AC TECH motorand controller system. Bycombining low energy consumption with high truckperformance, the QX will keepon going while other trucksare still at the charging bay.

To help prolong each shift, theQX offers several standardfeatures including on-demandhydraulic power steering. ItsAuto-Power Off feature cutstruck power if there’s been noactivity for a predetermined(and customizable) length of time. There are also three pre-set performancemodes to choose from; eachcreated to most efficientlysatisfy the demands of the application.

In addition, features like five-mode regenerative braking, automatic deceleration and a highly reliable CAN-bus network also contribute to reducing the amount of energy that’s consumedthroughout a shift.

Travel and lift settings were chosen for each performance mode to produce optimal results inthat category.
