HHS/CMS New Medicare Card National Program Support of SSN Removal
Platinum as the prime contractor supported the New Medicare Card policy changes for CMS. Platinum, using Agile processes, stood up a cloud-based Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Atlassian JIRA Confluence service . This supported New Medicare Cards and benefits for 58 million Americans. We are providing national advisory support and technical expertise regarding medical, and health care operations; health care data analysis; and national health policy development for CMS, SSA and OMB.

Platinum was awarded a prime contract for the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) for Grants Risk Management & Emergency Preparedness Budget Support for $4.3 million. We developed a standard form for submitting requests which includes required information such as requestor name; original transaction details (i.e. grant/ requisition/purchase order number, process date, amount); adjustment amount; purpose for adjustment; appropriation law approvals that meet the purpose, time, and bona fide need rules from specific officers (i.e. Contracting Officer, Grants Management Officer, Executive Officer, etc.) and final certification of funds approval from Budget Officer or delegated staff.
