NL Er schuilt een innovatief materiaal achter het ontwerp van Samuli Naamanka. Je zou verwachten dat een stoel als deze wordt vervaardigd van glasvezel of kunststof, maar de designer heeft in plaats daarvan materiaal gebruikt van 100% biologisch afbreekbare natuurlijke vezels. De Compos lobby stoel bevat geen op olie gebaseerde materialen, geen anorganische materialen en zelfs geen bindende stoffen. De Compos kan na jaren van gebruik worden gefreesd en opnieuw worden gebruikt in de productie van een nieuw product. En natuurlijk kan de schaal van de stoel ook op natuurlijke wijze worden afgebroken. Dit duurt circa 80 dagen.

EN The Compos Lobby Chair was designed by Designer Samuli Naamanka, Normally, you might expect a chair like this to be made from plastic or fiberglass, but Samuli Naamanka has instead designed the chair to be made from a 100% biodegradable natural fibre. The seat doesn’t contain any inorganic materials, not even binding substances. There aren’t even any oil based materials used in the chair. After the chair has been used for a long time, the seat material can be milled and used again for the production of a new product. At the end of the life cycle, the seat can also be demolished by composting it for about 80 days.

NL De FLAKES stoel werd voor het eerst ontworpen voor het nieuwe kunstmuseum in Århus in Denemarken, en is gemaakt van transparant glasvezel. Dankzij het elegante design en de inspirerende materialen, zijn interieurontwerpers erg geïnteresseerd in de tafels en stoelen van deze collectie en dan met name voor openbare ruimtes. NL Veel werkplekdeskundigen hebben hun mond vol van het nieuwe werken, terwijl er in essentie helemaal niets verandert aan de taak die door medewerkers uitgevoerd dient te worden. Het is de manier waarop er wordt gewerkt. Wereldwijd worden de meest fantastische projecten gerealiseerd, allemaal met eigenlijk hetzelfde uitgangspunt: op minder vierkante meters in een prettige werkomgeving een betere prestatie leveren.

Het is een feit dat bedrijven miljoenen per jaar investeren om organisaties beter te laten functioneren.

Vaak verwacht men dat dit door middel van de automatisering volledig kan worden ingevuld. Gedeeltelijk is dat ook zo, maar er wordt vaak aan voorbij gegaan dat daarin de mens centraal staat. Helaas stellen wij vast, dat organisaties veel te laat gaan nadenken over andere werkmethodes. Zo laat zelfs, dat pas over de nieuwe invulling van de vierkante meters wordt nagedacht, nadat de nieuwe huurovereenkomst is aangegaan. Dat is natuurlijk een gemiste kans. Een goed voorbereid werkplekonderzoek zal er in het algemeen toe leiden, dat men veel minder vierkante meters nodig heeft dan is gehuurd of aangekocht. Het proces van integratie is minder eenvoudig dan dat het lijkt. Een ingrijpende reorganisatie vraagt om een goede voorbereiding én een goede begeleiding. Er moet rekening gehouden worden met aspecten zoals hoe dynamisch is de onderneming en hoe dynamisch zijn de mensen die in deze onderneming werken. Hoe flexibel is men werkelijk en hoe kan het geheel gecontroleerd worden? Wanneer een project onderzoek “anders werken” wordt gestart moet het uitgangspunt zijn het welzijn van de mens en de onderneming waar zij voor werken. PLAN@OFFICE realiseerde op deze manier 100.000 vierkante meters turn-key projecten. Deze aanpak resulteert in aanzienlijke bezuinigingen, een beter arbeidsklimaat en een betere communicatie.

EN Many workplace authorities are talking about the new way of working, while essentially nothing changes in respect to the activities employees have to accomplish. It’s just the way of working. Many fabulous projects are realized worldwide, all with basically the same principle: accomplish a better performance in a pleasant working environment on less square meters .

It’s a fact that companies invest millions a year, in order to function in a better way.

The general opinion would be, that this can be fully realized with automation. This is partly correct, but oftenly there is not taken into account that the human being should be the central point. Unfortunately PLAN@OFFICE has to determine, that many organizations start thinking about different working methods much too late. Even that late, that they start thinking about the implementation of square meters, after signing the new lease contract. Of course that’s a missed opportunity. A well-prepared workplace analysis, will in general lead to the need of less square meters than already rented or purchased. The process of integration is less simple than it seems. A radical reorganization requires good preparation and good guidance. Issues like: how dynamic is the company and how dynamic are the people who are working there, should be taken into consideration. How flexible are the people really and in what way the total can be checked?When a project investigation like “a different way of work” is started, the principle should be the wellbeing of the people and the company they work for. CTZ. NL CTZ stelt nieuwe eisen aan het ontwerp van klaptafels voor vergaderingen, conferenties en bijvoorbeeld trainingsruimten. Winnaar van de Good Design Award in Japan en de iF Design Award. CTZ klaptafels hebben kenmerken waardoor iedereen in staat is de tafel op ieder moment eenvoudig te gebruiken. Om de tafel neer te klappen of op te slaan, is slechts een eenvoudige bediening van de hendel nodig. Het gepatenteerde synchro-top mechanisme, kan de stoppers (remmen) in het onderstel doen in- of uittrekken in de in hoogte verstelbare wielen. Een uniek patent: zodra het blad is neergeklapt komen de stabilisatiedoppen uit de wielen. Op die manier is er een hoge mate van stabiliteit te bereiken. NL K2: unieke in hoogte verstelbare tafel. De inspiratie voor het ontwerp van K2 is een klassieke (schraag)vorm, die door vereenvoudiging de K2 zijn unieke, zeer grafische uitstraling en sterke persoonlijkheid geeft. Het idee was om producten voor de werkplek te creëren, om zo te onderscheiden van het traditionele werkplekmeubilair, vanzelfsprekend met de volledige functionaliteit en ergonomie.

EN K2: unique height adjustable desk. The inspiration for the design of K2 is the classic shape (bordbuk) that through a simplification gives K2 its unique and very graphic expression with a strong personality. The idea was to create products to the workplace, not radiate the traditional “mainstream” workplace, but still with the full functionality and ergonomics.

NL De barkruk is ontworpen met de bedoeling om een simpel meubelstuk te creëren, zonder bepaalde richting en toegankelijk van alle kanten. Gedeeltelijk om het vaak spontane gebruik van dit soort stoelen te benadrukken en gedeeltelijk om een grafisch object te ontwerpen dat geen verstoring in de algemene lijnen van de ruimte geeft. Het minimalistische ontwerp wordt benadrukt door eenvoudige details, hoge kwaliteit en puur vakmanschap. De barkruk maakt onderdeel uit van de uitgebreide BLACKBOx collectie.

EN The barstool is designed with the intention to create a simple piece of furniture with no direction and acces-sible from all sides. Partly to underline the often casual and spontaneous use of a chair of this type and partly to create a graphical object that allows the surrounding space to pass without disturbing the overall lines and surfaces in the interior. Minimised design is empha-sised by simple details and high quality craftsmanship. The barstool is a part of the extensive BLACKBOx col-lection.

67NL xair, de luxe bureaustoel van Inaba, is een combinatie van Inaba’s technische vaardigheden, Japanse productietraditie en Europese innovatie in design. xair is ontworpen door Ken Okuyama. Met deze stoel wil Inaba een nieuwe standaard introduceren in de werkomgeving, waarin de combinatie van functionaliteit, comfort en esthetica zijn toegepast. xair heeft een bijzondere luchtlendensteun en een robuust aluminium frame met een minimale structuur. De lendensteun geeft pneumatische stevigheid om het lumbale gebied te ondersteunen en vermindert de belasting op de wervelkolom. xair biedt daarnaast een comfortabele ondersteuning voor elke houding. De rugleuning is bekleed met een ademende mesh stoffering, welke zich aanpast aan de bewegingen van het lichaam. The pneumatic lumbar support gives support to the lumbar region and reduces the load on the spine. xair also offers a comfortable support for each position. The backrest is covered with a breathable mesh fabric, which adapts to the movements of the body. The adjustment of the xair functions is integrated into the seat of the chair, through a DTSL (Direct Touch Seating Lever). By means of this lever the chair is fully adjustable.
