    Production Schedule

    Week 1

Tue We will both start producing our first recipe cards. We would expect to both have one recipecard finished by the end of the day. This will be assumed that we can get one recipe card donein 4 & half hours. This will consist of Robyn producing the adult card & Richard producing thechild card. Photoshop will be the software used to produce both of our recipe cards. Richard willalso have to produce each vegetable graphic & edit the photographs: this will then have to betransferred to Robyns computer. We will have to follow the individual designs we have alreadyproduced during pre-production. Copying the recipes over will also have to be done. We willalso have to reference back to one another about colours & fonts, making sure we are using theright ones. On this day I will be producing the vegetable logos for each of the recipe cards. Thisday will also be used to make sure we are happy with the overall design of the work and to see

if either of us is not happy with what we produced.

Wed If everything went to plan yesterday & we are happy to go ahead this is what we will do. We willboth start producing our second recipe cards. We would expect to both have this recipe cardfinished by the end of the day. This will be assumed that we can get one recipe card done in 4 &half hours. This will consist of Robyn producing the adult card & Richard producing the childcard, again. Photoshop will be the software used to produce both of our recipe cards. Richardwill also have to produce each vegetable graphic & edit the photographs: this will then have tobe transferred to Robyns computer. We will have to follow the individual designs we havealready produced during pre-production. Copying the recipes over will also have to be done. Wewill also have to reference back to one another about colours & fonts, making sure we are usingthe right ones. If were not happy with the work we did then the morning of this day will be takento look at how we can change the designs to something we do like. If we do this on the secondday, it will save time if we realised later on that we didnt like the designs.

    Week 2

Mon We will both start producing our third recipe cards. We would expect to both have this recipe

card finished by the end of the day. This will be assumed that we can get one recipe card donein 4 & half hours. This will consist of Robyn producing the adult card & Richard producing thechild card, again. Photoshop will be the software used to produce both of our recipe cards.Richard will also have to produce each vegetable graphic & edit the photographs: this will thenhave to be transferred to Robyns computer. We will have to follow the individual designs wehave already produced during pre-production. Copying the recipes over will also have to bedone. We will also have to reference back to one another about colours & fonts, making sure weare using the right ones. At the beginning of this week, we will remind ourselves of what we willhave to do because we would have had 4 days off.

Tue We will both start producing our fourth recipe cards. We would expect to both have this recipecard finished by the end of the day. This will be assumed that we can get one recipe card donein 4 & half hours. This will consist of Robyn producing the adult card & Richard producing thechild card, again. This is the last day of producing the individual recipe cards. Photoshop will bethe software used to produce both of our recipe cards. Richard will also have to produce eachvegetable graphic & edit the pho tographs: this will then have to be transferred to Robynscomputer. We will have to follow the individual designs we have already produced during pre-production. Copying the recipes over will also have to be done. We will also have to referenceback to one another about colours & fonts, making sure we are using the right ones. Due to thisbeing the last day we will be going through them in the last 10/20 minutes & noting down thingsthat will need to be changed during the two days of contingency time.

Wed This day will be left as contingency time if something goes wrong. Things that could go wronginclude a computer freezing before we save the work or an absent person. We can also use thistime to make our cards have an overall higher standard. During this time Richard will be doing

quality control. We will also have to send each other the work to make sure we are both happywith it. At the beginning of this day, we will go through the work together to make sure we areboth happy with the overall look & discuss what else could be done during the contingency time.

    Week 3

Monday This will be the last day of contingency time, so if something has gone terribly wrong, this will bethe only day to sort it out as we have to stick to the schedule. Terrible things that could gowrong include the work just deleting itself (although this is worst case scenario). If we had toproduce more than one recipe card during the contingency time, we would use this time to raisethe quality of them.

    Responsibilities

What Health and Safety legislation might you need to consider in this project? The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992

    Team members: Responsibilities:

    Richard

Producing the child cards. This will consist of somedesign work for the vegetable; this will be done onPhotoshop. Four recipe cards. Tools I will use on

Photoshop include rotoscoping pictures ofvegetables & creating cartoons. Some of thesedesign aspects will also be featured on the adultrecipe cards. I will also have the responsibility forquality control. Quality control will include jobs likeensuring aspects of the design e.g. a coloured boxis in the same place on every recipe card. I will beable to do this by using the tool Rulers.

    Robyn

Producing the adult cards. This will consist of a lotof layout work. This work will be done onPhotoshop. Four recipe cards. She will also have

the responsibility of time management. Robyn willhave the schedule up on her computer so we keepto schedule & at the end of the day she will checkif we have both got what we needed to be donefinished. IF we have not, Robyn will add what weneed to do in the contingency time.

    Contingency

    Risk to project Contingency plan

Broken memory stick. Thiscould mean that work could belost.

We have given ourselves two days of contingency time if thisdoes occur. The work will also be backed up on computers.Sending it to each other would also insure that the work isbacked up somewhere. More than one memory stick would

also be beneficial. Some form of the work should be savedsomewhere, so we would have to work from that.

Computer crashes before wehave time to save. The work willdefinitely be lost if this occurs.

This will take longer to redo, so more of the two-daycontingency time will be needed. We need to save as much aspossible whilst doing the work to have minimal damage. Likementioned above, backing it up on memory sticks & sendingthe work to one another would be beneficial so we dont haveto use the contingency time. We could also make sure that mywork is saved on Robyns computer and her work is on mine

just in case. We do not want to lose any work.

Partner is ill. They will miss aday of producing a recipe card.

This partner will have to take one of the contingency days toproduce this missed day of producing one recipe card. Ifpartner is ill for more than one day, the other partner will haveto take on some of their work/all of their work. This maydecrease the quality of the work. The partner could try andproduce work at home, but this wouldnt be ideal.

We may not like the work wehave produced.

Hopefully this wont occur, but if it does, we will have two daysto either 1) use the recipe cards we have already made and

change what they look like overall or 2) create new recipecards altogether. Neither of those choices would be idealwhatsoever.
