0 Don’t use rude or bad language on the Internet. 0 You never know who is watching you while on social
networks.
Rule 2: Never Give Out Personal Information .
0Do not give your full name, address , or phone number to people you don’t really know.
0Tell your parents if someone is harassing or being over friendly with you on the internet.
0Never respond to a message or email from a person you don’t know personally.
Rule 3: Once Its Online It Won’t Go Away .
0Once you publish something on the Internet it will never go away.
0Even if you try to delete what you put , someone could always go back and retrieve it.
0What you put online today can affect what kind of job you have tomorrow.

Rule 4 : Never copy word for word what someone else has
made.0You wouldn’t want someone to steal what you took
time to create so why do it to others ?0Make sure when you typing a paper or something that
you are not copying word for word what the author has put.
0Always when your writing a paper remember to put the information in your own words.
Rule 5 : Always Cite Where You Got Your Information
From .0Whenever you are looking for something always
remember to cite where you got it from.0Your teacher might want to go and look back and see
where you got your information from.0Your teacher might also want to see if you just copied
and pasted or put it in your own words.
