    The University is pioneer in having ATIC and ismaintaining a cohesive liaison with ATMA

    KVKs organizing Kisan Melas, Trainings, FLD, FieldDays, Campaigns, Exhibitions, Group discussions, on-the-spot diagnosis and guidance, on-farm/adaptivetrials and real time advisory services to solve thelocation-specific and need-based farm problems.

    The University has a showcase in the form ofEducational Museum

    Adhoc extension projects are also undertaken in theDEE.

    The central library at Palampur is the online library

    Seating capacity of 200 readers at a time, besides 26 researchcabins for research scholars.

    In addition to two web portals, the library has web based accessfacilities like Web OPAC, JGate, CAB Abstracts online, Fedgate,Hill agric repository (digitized Ph.D. theses), ebooks,krishiprabha, CeRA, agricat@egranth and shodhganga.

    Mini-libraries at Regional Research Stations Bajaura,Dhaulakuan and Kukumseri. All these libraries are connectedwith the central library at Palampur through ezproxy.
