Page 1.Pundit Ji may I ask some questions in regards to Pitra, and please explain

Q. Pundit Ji please explain the controversial PITRA and the DOSHAS?

A. This is one of the most important concepts of Indian astrology and it is called Pitra Dosh which is generally defined by many Astrologers and Jyotish, as the Curse of Ancestors meaning that the forefathers of the person having Pitra Dosh in his horoscope are unhappy with him and therefore they are cursing the native and due to this, the he may suffer from debt, diseases, failures all around, being childless and in the worst cases early death due to accidents or serious diseases. And in case of Pitra Dosh, the misconception starts right from its literal definition which states that it is the curse of Ancestors.

Q. Pundit Ji, can you elaborate on the issue?

A. Pitra Dosh is not a curse of the Ancestors for sure, as the horoscope of a person is drawn and decided right at the time of his birth and accordingly any kind of defects are decided at the time of his birth which would include defects like Pitra Dosh, Kaal Sarp Dosh and Manglik Dosh among other defects.

Coming to the defect called Pitra Dosh, if this defect is decided at the birth of a person, then what has this person done in this birth to get cursed by the ancestors. I mean, if a person grows older and does some bad Karmas or Bad deeds which may bring disgrace to the good and fair name of Ancestors, and then it may be considered that the Ancestors are cursing that person. But why curse a person before his birth? There are a few exceptions:-

1

Page 2: Pitra And The Essence

1. I will give an example from, The Mahabharata. A King named Shanatanu son of King Bharat had a conditional marriage with Ganga Devi (Ganges). He gives a Boon to the wife that what ever she will do the king will not rebuke her action or reprimand her. Every baby born to, her without Shantanu’s consent, she drowns them in the Ganges River and the king remains tight lipped and could not confront the wife. Page 2Six of their babies were drowned but the King was still tight lipped. When the seventh baby was being taken to the River the King followed the wife:

2. Maligned her. She held back the baby and reminded the King for breaking his promise and walked towards the River Ganges with the baby and upon several requests and out cry for the inimical and despicable action, she explained. “Oh Dear King, you and I, were Deva and Devi residing in Braham Lok and once, due to our Celibate motives Brahma Ji cursed us to be born on earth and we shall be inflicted by usual pains like a normal human, but since you are Brahmn Loka’s resident, you will be born in a Kingly Dynasty but shall be monogamous.

3. She replied, this is the reason for our bereft and sufferings. Now my curse is over after your iffy interaction being blessing in disguise, which allows me to go back to Brahmn Lok, but you still have to work off your curse. The King rebuking his inaction and sorrow fully pleaded for the seventh son being given to him. He asked what wrong had his six new born done to die at the hands of her mother.

4. She replied with least regret, that they witnessed our uncompromising actions, they were no ordinary human, but the six Vasus out of eight and their misdeeds with curse ended while going through the pains and sorrows of the mother’s Womb, and

2

Page 3: Pitra And The Essence

therefore, were born on earth. They again became enlightened and returned to the Vasu Lok soon after, so do not regret. His brusque and wrathful actions led to the seventh baby still held back and only becomes obvious that his misdeeds and curse is not yet cancelled.

5. When further asked about the seventh baby in her arms, she expressed her somber thoughts and explained that he is the seventh Vasu and his Karmic Debts is not yet wiped out and therefore he has to work them off later during his life and will eventually go back to Vasu Lok. You may know that he was the well known Bhishma Pitamah and the tragedies of his life but died in front of Lord Krishna to get the salvation. Let’s cut long story short and leave at that.Page 3You may recall six of Shri Krishna’s brothers died as well in the hands of Kansa,Shiri Krishna showed the factualism in his Viraat Roop (universal Form) to Arjun Ji, Refer Bhagawat Gita Chapter11 for the astonishing and awesome teachings of Lord Krishna. So the bottom-line is Birth and Death entirely depends on karma.

Q. Who are the new born in any family Maharaj and how the Karmic Law works?

A. Before, we move any further, let me tell you that, in most of the cases a person born in a family line is none other than one, that one of his own Ancestors. For example a person born in a family line is usually one of the forefathers of that family who is reborn in that family after going through other after the death protocols and consequences according to Hinduism beliefs.

Further more, according to the theory of Karmic Law and Astrology, most of the people are born in the same family lines with same friends and enemies, in many of their lives until their Karmic debts,

3

Page 4: Pitra And The Essence

duties and rewards are all wiped out from that particular group of people or we can call them particular group of Souls and fulfill all owed Karmas before one may purify himself.

Coming back to the point, what actually is this Pitra Dosh, if it is not a curse of the Ancestors? So let's look into this complicated matter and determine what Pitra Dosh is. Since, Pitra Dosh is not the curse of the Ancestors and is their Karmic Debt that becomes Pitra Dosh in his horoscope, who is supposed to be paid for. In simple words a Pitra Dosh is formed in the horoscope of a person due to bad Karmas or bad deeds done by the Ancestors of that person and this person is supposed to pay that Karmic debt by suffering the punishments decided for those debts in different spheres of his life until the debt is cleared either by punishment or by the good deeds and paying respect and homage to Pitra. So a Pitra Dosh in his horoscope does not mean that the ancestors are cursing the person having but, it means that the Ancestors of such persons are themselves cursed and need the natives support to overcome their calamitous state.\

Page 4

This theory may sound confusing to some people, so let's try and explain with scientific explanations as well and Karmic logics. Starting with Science, it is a well known fact that there are a number of diseases found today which are genetic in nature which means that they are passed from mother or father to their children. A common example of such diseases would be diabetes which is prevailing throughout the world and in many cases.

It passes from generation to generation, though it may not affect some children born to a diabetic mother or father. In the same way a son generally inherits the assets and liabilities of his father which may have come from the forefathers’ also. Similarly other examples can be considered to validate the theory that the good or bad things

4

Page 5: Pitra And The Essence

earned, owned and owed by the parents or forefathers are passed on to the children of the family.

The theory of Karmic debts also work in the same way with the only difference being that it shows the results in the present life based on the Karmas done in previous lives. As I have already mentioned earlier, that most of the people are born within the same family lines and same circle of friends, so an Ancestor suitable for the punishment of the Karmic debt of a family according to the bad Karmas done by him in his previous lives, is sent on earth to pay those debts and bear the punishments.

As this person does good or bad deeds in his present life, it contributes to the negative or positive Karmic balance of that family line where the negative balance, (the debt) and positive balance (the rewards) which are going to be enjoyed or paid by the coming generation. This is why so much emphasis is put on doing good Karmas and if often preached that the bad Karmas done by a person are going to affect the family line of that person which includes his children and their children and in the same way the good Karmas done by a person earn Karmic rewards which are paid to the future members of his family line who are going to enjoy good or great fortunes due to the good deeds done by their fathers and forefathers in the same way as a person enjoys the wealth earned and owned by his father.

Page 5

Pundit Ji Please give an example, to support your theory as explained above?

Let's go deeper in this theory of Karmic Ancestral debts and rewards with the help of an example taken from The Ramayan Granth: This example belongs to the birth of the Holiest Ganges River adored and worshipped by Hindus. There was a King name Sagar who was an

5

Page 6: Pitra And The Essence

Ancestor of Lord Rama. Due to some misunderstanding, the sons of King Sagar attacked a great Sage named Kapil Mu

The Muni engaged in penance was aroused and soon he opened his eyes, burning flames came out of his wrathful eyes the sons were burned to ashes. Sages were given great respect in India and insulting and attacking a great sage like Kapil formed a heavy Karmic debt which was going to bother all the coming generations of this family. Knowing this, Anshuman the grandson of King Sagar went to Sage Kapil, asked for his forgiveness and requested him to prescribe a way to relieve the family of this Ancestral debt. It was then told by Sage Kapil that if the holy River Ganga can be brought to the earth from the heavens and the ashes of the burnt Princes are offered to holy River Ganga, only then this debt can be cleared.

Accordingly, Anshuman worshiped throughout his life to bring Ganga on earth but he did not succeed and the duty was passed on to his son King Dilip who also worshiped throughout his life to bring Ganga to earth to clear the Karmic debts of his forefathers, but King Dilip also did not succeed and the duty was passed on to his son King Bhagirath who also worshiped Lord Brahma very dedicatedly and one day Lord Brahma came to answer his prayers and blessed him with his wish that Ganga would be sent to earth to relieve his family and forefathers of their Karmic debts. And as Lord Brahma blessed Bhagirath, King

Q. Punditji, why was Anshuman and Dilip’s penance not accepted by Brahma Ji?

A. Bhagirath had posed this question to Lord Brahma which is self explanatory: "Oh, Great Lord Brahma, I have a question to ask and kindly bless me with the answer to this question. My grandfather Anshuman and my father Dilip worshipped you throughout their lives but you did not answer their plea.”

6

Page 7: Pitra And The Essence

Page6

Brahma Ji replied, “karmic debt on your family line needed to be paid prior to my intervention and in order for me to come and bless a member of your family line with the wish. Your father and grandfather worshipped throughout their lives and were able pay most of this debt but as this debt was not cleared; I did not come to grant their wish. Where as I came to answer your prayers.

Your holy, was there any defect in their way of worship or was something else wrong due to which you did not listen to the prayers of my father and my grandfather?

Hearing this Lord Brahma smiled and said, "Insulting and attacking a great sage like Kapil Ji, caused a very heavy debt and as you started worshipping, after your Grand Fathers the Karmic debt eventually got cleared and after that you have earned the Karmic reward. By keeping on worshipping me, you were able to win my pleasure, so I am here to bless you with your wish". After that Maa Ganga was sent to earth to bless the souls of Bhagirath's forefathers as well as many others.

Q. Maharaj Ji, I am unable to clearly get the morale of the story, Explain please:

A. Firstly understand, this is not a story but true happening The moral of the text is that, the karmic debt levied on the forefathers of king Bhagirath needed to be cleared before the family line could be blessed again with good fortunes and therefore three generations of his family worshipped the Lord to clear this Karmic debt and earn Karmic rewards. This led to the good results like the incarnation of Lord Rama in the same family line which shows that the positive karmic balance of this family line was extremely great because a family line which witnessed the birth of The Lord himself was

7

Page 8: Pitra And The Essence

without any doubt of the most prestigious Karmic family line of that time.

Coming back to Pitra Dosh, now it should be easy to understand that Pitra Dosh is not the curse of the ancestors as defined by some astrologers, but it is a debt

Page 7

formed as a result of bad deeds done by the ancestors and this debt has to be paid by the present generation either by taking the punishment decided according to that debt or by doing some specific good Karmic deeds which would help paying this debt so that the degree of punishment may be decreased. And after knowing so much about the definition of Pitra Dosh, let's find out how this dosh is seen present in a horoscope.

Q. Yes, Maharaj please, could you explain this for everyone’s benefit?

A. It is not as easy to understand, but nevertheless I will attempt to explain. If the Sun which is a signifier of the Self and the Ancestors, is afflicted by a Malefic planet, a Pitra Dosh is formed in the horoscope and depending upon the afflicting planet, the kinds and results of Pitra Dosh change.

For example, the worst kind of Pitra Dosh is formed by the affliction of Rahu and Ketu to the Sun by placement and aspect. And a Pitra Dosh where the Sun and Rahu are placed in the same house and Rahu afflicts the Sun by placement and Ketu afflicts the Sun by direct aspect is a very serious Pitra Dosh and can even prove to be fatal for the native if the afflictions are strong.

The affliction to the Sun by a malefic Saturn also forms a serious Pitra Dosh and similarly any malefic planet afflicting the Sun would form a Pitra Dosh which would trouble the native with different

8

Page 9: Pitra And The Essence

results depending upon the afflicting planet, the strength of the afflicting planet and the Sun, the placement of the afflicting planet as well as the Sun and some other factors.

Apart from this, a Pitra Dosh is also formed if, the 9th house of a horoscope which stands for Ancestors among other things is afflicted by a malefic planet and the results would be predicted in the same way as in case of afflictions to the Sun. Afflictions to the Lord of 9th

house also form a Pitra Dosh. In the same way if the Moon is afflicted by a malefic planet or planets, a Matru Dosh is formed in the horoscope and the worst Matru Dosh is formed by the placement of Ketu with Moon with the direct aspect of Rahu at the same time.

Page 8

Q. Punditji please try and give remedial solutions For Pitra and Matra Doshas

A. Now that we know about Pitra Dosh, let's discuss about its remedies. Like all other defects presents in a horoscope, Pitra Dosh is a very technical defect and general remedies are not sufficient for it.

It is very important first to identify the planet or planets causing Pitra Dosh and then do the remedies which usually involve Pooja, Mantras, Gemstones and Charities.

Now, for the people who are told that Pitra Dosh is a curse of the ancestors and it can be modified by doing Poojas and charities to pacify and please their ancestors, let me tell you that this remedy is not going to do much good for you because your Ancestors are not cursing you but they are themselves cursed and so you don't need to pray to them, but you need to pray The Lord.

So, in order to relieve yourself and your ancestors of the Pitra Dosh present in your horoscope, identify the planet or planets causing

9

Page 10: Pitra And The Essence

Pitra Dosh in the horoscope and then do specific Remedies to pay the debts of those planets and pacify those planets so that they may reduce the quantum of punishment they are imposing on you.

Q. Maharaj ji, please do explain Pitra Dosha, and Pitra Dosha Remedies?

A. Furthermore to, as mentioned earlier, the ninth house is the house of fortune in the birth chart. This is so important because this house is also known as the house of father and manes. If Sun and Rahu form conjunction in this house then Pitra Dosha is formed in the birth chart. As per Vedic scriptures, auspiciousness of that house will be removed where Sun and Rahu are placed together. As per Vedic seers, this Yog is formed according to the sins of previous birth. Let’s see how Pitra Dosha is formed and how can we pacify it?

Page 9The life of an individual is the combination of happiness and

sorrows. The sorrows may be in the form of inability to get a child or a job, money loss, professional difficulties or household conflicts and so on. There is a Dosha which creates many problems for a person. It is known as Pitra Dosha.

Punditji, please describe Pitra Dosha?

Manes are known as Pitra in Hindi. Pitra are those people who died unnatural death or did not get salvation. Due to this, people perform remedies for the pacification of Pitra Dosha.

What is Pitra Dosha Maharaj? Manes who are creating problems also want to get relief from Pitra Yoni. This Dosha is formed and if the younger generation does not perform any rituals, for their manes.

10

Page 11: Pitra And The Essence

How Pitra Dosha is Formed Punditji? Pitra Dosha is formed if anyone in the family dies unnatural death or it happens many times. It can also happen if family members do not offer (Shraads) water and food to their manes or do not remember their manes in the spiritual activities. Pitra Dosha occurs if no one in the family is interested to perform spiritual tasks or if any family member kills a cow or destroys a foetus in the womb. In these situations, Sun and Rahu form conjunction in the ninth house in the birth chart of that person who is afflicted by Pitra Dosha.

The ninth house is the house of father and Sun as a Karaka, planet of father is also the Karaka planet of progress, age, promotion and spirituality. If Rahu which is malefic and shadow planet affects this planet then it forms Grahan Yoga and Pitra Dosha as well.

Page 10 If this Yog is present in the horoscope, the person gets delayed support of his luck and he has to struggle a lot to achieve success on the work front. According to the Hindu scriptures, a person should worship his manes before the worship of deities because they have great importance. Therefore, you should satisfy your manes first to make the deities happy. Krishna Paksha of the Ashwini (September/ October) month as per Hindu calendar is the best duration for the pacification of manes.

Q.Pundit Ji these are very complicated for me, please specify symptoms

A. Well, there are some signs and methods given in the ancient texts, which help a person in identifying Pitra Dosh. Following are the most important and common, signs to identify the existence of Pitra Dosh.

1. Your manes will get satisfied if you will do Pinddaan, worship and Tarpana on the (Tithi) date of death of manes in the Krishna Paksha of Ashwini month with sesame, couch grass, flowers, raw rice and Ganga Jal or pure water. After that, offer food, clothes, fruits and donations to the Brahmins to pacify your manes

2. People who don’t know the date of death of their manes can perform all these activities for pacification of their manes on the day of Amavasya, or more satisfactorily Soma Amawasya (Dark night on a Monday.)

SECTION II:

Q. Pundit ji please explain, Pitra Dosh, its Meaning, Concept, Pitra Dosh Nivaran and the Explanations? A). who is Pitra? What is Pitra Dosh? What do the Pitra do? Why are they worshiped? These are some questions which most of the people wanted to know. There are many explanations given by many people but still clarity is in doubt. To reveal the hidden truth today, I am attempting to share the information not usually are transparent that will clear all the doubts about Pitra and Pitra Dosh in many who describe Pitra as some, U F O. or DEMON. Hope this will benefit you in someway.

Q. Maharaj, please elaborate on the MEANING OF PITRA

A-1) "Pitra" is referred to our ancestors or family members who are dead. Pitra are between God and Us. If we have Pitra at our home and we are not worshiping them then we cannot make God happy, but if we make Pitra happy then it is not hard to make God happy. Pitra are as great as and equivalent to God. Pitra are very powerful and believe in give and take rule. If the Pitra are happy then there would be no major problem in life, but on the contrary, if they are not happy then life is full of issues and problems. God is the ultimate destination.

A-2) Before the starting of any "Shubh Karya" (auspicious doing) or assignment it is necessary to worship Pitra. In case they are not worshiped or provided with the stuff which is dedicated to them or The God, then that work will never have a propitious outcome. It has been seen in many cases that "Pitra" enter in body of some of the family member and show their anger by talking in common language like "hamne bhool gayo hai” which means you ignored me. I am thirsty and hungry. I am in debilitated of my rights. Later on, after apology and worshiping they bless and then the work starts. I will give a few true and personally witnessed examples.

1. A) Back in 1970, one morning there was children’s school bag stolen from a neighbor’s house. The next day some black magic items were found undisturbed, under the

17

Page 18: Pitra And The Essence

mattress of the bed where the lady of the house slept. As well a portable radio and game of Chess with plastic pieces got missing.

B.) Two –policemen were guarding the house and my cousins and I stood awake although nervous, in an attempt to find the culprit. Around 9.30 pm the food safe containing onions, potatoes and other food items caught fire. Page 16The police men confirmed seeing a member of the house walking that way. In reality this was illusionary because all members of the house were together all the time. (Ref: A2 above lines 4to6. this proofs Pitra transform into a family member’s body.) We all ran to the kitchen grabbed a hose and controlled the fire.

Early next morning the roof iron walled house caught fire and was eventually controlled but damages occurred. We knew it was inimical and iffy situation, Concerned and horrified a knowledgeable Priest, Pt. Mangali Maharaj was contacted. Upon his advice Pitra Dosh Nivaran remedial solution was obeyed. He stayed at the house for nine days meditating. He had assured recovery of lost items within nine days. This was an eye opener for many ignorant and the younger generations who were rather in circumspect in this regard.

C.)To our surprise after a night of heavy rain, in the morning the radio and bags were noticed at the mouth of culverts running across the road, although, wet and damaged. After about ten days we were burning compound trash and the Chess box was recovered intact from the fire, not damaged. We were briefly told The Pitra Dosh created all the ephemeral situations because of the bereft Pitra’s wrath.

2). In 1978 my neighbor drove his car in a reckless way, up the driveway around mid night and got possessed, with Pitra Powers and became incorrigible. He bashed tearing apart his weather boarded house and Masonite boarded double wall thus become uncontrollable amongst about 15 of us. He was talking clearly in his deceased father’s voice addressing the elders as he did when he was alive.

We contacted a knowledgeable priest Pt Kampta Prasad Sharma and explaining the situation he without delay began the appeasing and pacifying remedies, while driving to the incorrigible and assiduous environment. After Pt. Sharma’s

18

Page 19: Pitra And The Essence

arrival and the meditation, situation came to a control, and the possessed man came to senses, completely unaware of virtually, astral situation and was surprised to see so many of us and Punditji there, around two in the morning. My wife Kushma was there as well to witness the entire dilemma in aspect.

3). Another incident in 2008, last but not the least here in Seaside Monterey, a grandson of a deceased man was being spoken to and demanding his share of offerings on a continuous basis only because his children ignored him and were too ignorant with the Pitra Concept. The grandson was being upheld for the due offerings being the next in line to take responsibility. Eventually he asked me for advice and a remedial solution.Page 17 I told take a Sankalp and promise to action the meritorious Ritual on a SOMAMAWASYA (Amawasya on a Monday) the most suitable day for Pitra Shraad (a part from The Pitra Paksh) in order to create a rapport. He carried out the Rishi, Deo, and Pitra Tarpan and offerings accordingly and I was informed later by him, that the Pitra came, accepted the offerings, blessed him and departed.

Q. Who Becomes "Pitra Pundit Ji?

A. There are many Myths about Pitra and many people don't even know or want to know about Pitra. Firstly we must understand that the Pitra is a Yoni amongst 88,000 species of life. They are not Devils or evil Spirits. Coming to the point now all those family member who die unexpectedly i.e. in accidents, incurable diseases or die with some wishes unfulfilled and pinddaan is not offer, enter the Preta Yoni and annoy the family Pitra. It is not necessary that all Pitra will haunt but most of them surely expect to receive their shares from he next of their Pitra Bhakts (devotees) and they are between Human and God or in other words we can say that they are the mediators.

Every family has its own Pitra like, Kul Devta, Graam Devta, Isht Devta etc. and only those family members can worship them for fruitful results. After death one must be given due respect and offerings either the goes to Pitra Yoni or not, that means he needs to be worshiped for lifetime together with Family. Pitra never goes in heaven or hell they have their own category of Lokas and they are associated with their family till

the dynasty exists. There are many cases in which people die unexpectedly but they don't become Pitra, this is because they don't want any kind of support from their family after death and dissolve them self in God but this is very rare because Karmic Law binds everyone.

Q. Pundit Ji how many types of "Pitra are there":

A) There are two types,1. Shant Pitra: These are those who become Pitra after death but are out of the Human issues based on their Good Deeds. They believe in God and don’t mind if they are worshiped or not. This doesn’t exalt such families because everyone has to perform his or her religious duties and not take for granted that that they are born as a valiant introvert or, their Pitra don’t exist and they are excused for every neglect.

These Pitra are happy in both the cases if treated with respect or not but the generations to follow will pay for their inactions sooner or later if became ignorant.

Page 18They don't have direct connection with their family members in this case. God is the final judge of the family. God has the direct powers to work for that person. These Pitra are involved into "Bhajans" and "Satsang" and after staying some time in "Pitra Yoni" they go to "Amar Lok Dham" which is heaven where they meet other saints and stay in peace there (attain Moksha). This is a very rare case or rather impossible today.

B) ASHANT PITRA: These are those who are dead but are still harnessed with their family emotionally. They want the same respect and care as their family members received by him. One can not waiver Karmic DebtsThey are very angry by nature, although they don't harm the family very much but yes problems like money, disease and hardships are unavoidable. They want their food and respect on time. They are very effective in giving results and once happy can get you fastest auspicious results. One must do the best to appease them and assist in canceling their misdeeds putting them onto the path to liberations. In any case we must pay our homage and respect to them.

Let me Highlight ON a typical issue, “During weddings” It is mandatory that Pitra is worshipped and their blessings requested during Mandap Staphana. Even those who never

think of Pitra ask the Pundits to do the Pitra Pooja properly, out of fear only and never think of Pitra again. Once a Couple asked me to do the same and was hardly prepared for the same. I rebuked their plea and told them “to pray and appease your Pitra to pacify them, they are not my Pitra; I can guide you but not please your Pitra.” The term people use “Pitra baandh Dena” is very disrespectful. I told them people can not baanhdo their own tongue which is within you 24/7, how can I baandho your Pitra. They got my message. This is most people’s attitude towards religion.

Q.What is the POWERS OF PITRA Pundit Ji?

A. A) Pitra is the key to family success. B) Pitra is essential part of family even after death. C) Pitra can save us from many unexpected issues. D) Pitra make environment positive and energetic. E) Pitra makes work successful. F) Pitra helps in getting success. G) Pitra provides peace and prosperity.

Page 19Q.Disadvantages of not worshiping "Pitra Maharaj Ji":

A. A) Pitra's if not happy will lead to unsuccessful life. B) Life is not peaceful. C) Business and Job issues. D) Family tensions. E) Small kids are most of times ill. F) Lack of money. G) All new assignments fail.

No matter how much a person worships God but if Pitra IS NOT WORSHIPPED or the family doesn't worship them, then, even the God is not in a state to help. Lord never puts his cart before the horse.

This is because God has given the equivalent status to Pitra' and they are the bridge to the heavenly abode of His Almighty.

Q. If Pitra's are the ancestor's then why they create problems for their off springs after death?

This question is very common and most of the people ask that if the Pitra is our family members and were loved by us and vice versa then why after death they create problems in the life of their living family members? The answer to this is that every one on this earth wants respect and timely needs. If these two things are there then a person becomes happy and works more efficiently. Same is applicable with Pitra as in "Pitra" "Yoni" just like we are in "Manuyshya Yoni". Although they are not living but they want their stuff well on time. They live the same way we live but the only difference is the place. We live on earth and them in "Pitra Lok". If they are happy then family will be surely happy.

Q. What is "Pitra Bhog" Punditji?

A. The food which is dedicated to "Pitra" is known as "Pitra Bhog". They generally accept sweet especially "Kheer"(Rice Boiled in Milk with Sugar) a traditional Indian Sweet Dish With clean water.

You may use paper plates otherwise or stainless steel plates. Avoid using aluminum or chinaware and simultaneously the family members should join hands and remember the "Pitra" by his name should say that please accept your food and bless us.-Q. 22

Page 23: Pitra And The Essence

A. This is given once in a month during "Amawas" or "Amawasya" or "Full Black Night". Pitra accept their stuff only once in a month.

Q. Pundit Ji how can we identify the "Pitra"?

A. Many people say that we think we have Pitra but we are not sure and we would like to know them. The solution to this is very simple. There are commonly three ways to identify the Pitra:

21.) Read 11th Chapter of "Shri Mad Bhagvat Gita" and with in 2-3 days the Pitra will give you a show in the dream. And also you will remember your dream and then you can start worshiping them.

2.) Before sleeping wash your hands and legs remember God and pray that "Who so ever is my Pitra please come in my dream and make me aware of you as I am unable to recognize you” They may come in any form like of a Cockroach, Snake or in any other specie. The only problem is that they will not reveal their identity you need to understand them or you can consult some learned Pundit for more details of the dream.

3.) This is the most efficient way to know their existence. If you have any work which is in doubt that will happen or not assign to Pitra and mention them that if you really exist then make this work successful and if it happens then I offer them Bhog and promise to worship them, and will accept your presence in my family Pitra. They will definitely make the work positive and then you can identify them as long as you are genuine.

Page 21Q. What is "Pitra Kopa Pundit Ji"?

Those families who have Pitra but they don't believe in them become the victim of "Pitra Dosh" .It refers to the problems that arises because of the non compliance. Pitra are sad and not showering their blessings turns into Pitra Kopa. A Pitra Padti or Yantra can do miracles for you.

23

Page 24: Pitra And The Essence

"Pitro Ki Patdi": Yantra

Like every God, Pitra have their own special "Yantra" or "Instrument" which is known as "Pitro Ki Patdi".This is designed and dedicated as per the convenience of Pitra and is kept in temple or wore in neck. This is very helpful and powerful. This Yantra give quick results and generally those who couldn't identify their Pitra for some time and during that time their Pitra were hungry must use energized. Padti.

Pitra are kind enough and easy to make happy. They just need care, respect and on time food that too in a month. If dedicated and worshiped then nothing is impossible and success is in hand.
