• Nearly 22% of Oklahoma 12th graders had used prescription d ith t d t t lli th t d idrugs without a doctor telling them to do so once or more in their lifetime ‐ 9.6% had done so in the past 30 days  (2010 OPNA)

• Oklahoma is over one and a half times the national average in the nonmedical use of prescription pain relievers in the pastthe nonmedical use of prescription pain relievers in the past month among persons aged 12 and older (NSDUH)
