PItech was established and incorporated in Uganda in 2007 as a company focusing on strengthening business

and public institutions in their quest of improving their technological solutions. We deliver highly effective

STRATEGY AND BUSINESS PLAN

PItech helps your company to carry out the installation of communication systems such

as BTSs, Towers, VSATs, Voice/PABX, CPEs, Server racks, Wi-Fi radios, Networking,

Network Firewalls and routing appliance installation and congurations, VPNs, internet

gateways, telephony and optical ber systems. Installation of BTS generator sets, high

capacity fuel tanks, microwave links including their wall and roof top pole mounts.

DATA AND INFORMATION SECURITY

Pitech recognizes and appreciates the sensitive nature and need forcondentiality and privacy of clients information, it is for this reason

that we implement / incorporate our custom three tier approach to

network and information security borrowed and in accordance to

the CIA Triad i.e Condentiality, Integrity and Availability in every

network we design. This is achieved through implementation of strong

perimeter rewall(s), Intrussion detection and prevention systems as

well as End point security services.

Site Installation and Commissioning

Pitech provides Installation & Commissioning services of all latest and old

- Installing a wireless network by the Ministry of ICT(MICT) using Wi-Fi

equipment in the free ISM band at 2.4GHz in Nakaseke (Central Uganda) so that all partners can share

- Design of a campus Network- Makerere University which involved designing of a highly redundant self

healing network and included designing and implementation of the IP address and subnetting schemes.

- Examining and studying the design and development of a range of solutions of Wi-Fi broadband

networks for deployment in rural and remote areas.(Case study Kawaala-Kasubi area)

- VPN setup: Design and installation of a site to site VPN between Agha Khan Primary and secondary

school in old kampala to connect Agha Khan Nursery. Client to site implementation have also been done

for such clients as Tour companies as Lets Go Travel, Travel care etc.

- Internet / network Firewall Installation for Sports View Hotel so as to separate trafc from guest and
