PROYECTO PARA LA CONSTRUCCIÓN DE UNA PISTA
POLIDEPORTIVA DE USO MIXTO EN LAS INSTALACIONES DE ‘BAL
MANDIR’ BHIMPEDI (NEPAL)
ANTECEDENTES:
Bhimpedi es un pequeño pueblo del sur de Nepal donde residen gran cantidad
de niños y jóvenes de todas las edades y como en muchos otros lugares de Nepal
estos niños y jóvenes no disponen de ningún tipo de instalación en donde poder
practicar ningún deporte ni formación física.
Entendemos la práctica del deporte como una necesidad fundamental para el
desarrollo físico y mental de los niños y jóvenes a la vez que se manifiesta como un
factor determinante para el desarrollo de valores como la deportividad, compañerismo,
sana competitividad y a potenciar el equilibrio emocional de los mismos.
Con este proyecto se pretende dotar de una instalación que sirva en primer
lugar a los niños del orfanato ‘Bal Mandir’ de Bhimpedi, quizás porque son
precisamente estos niños los menos afortunados de todos por carecer de una familia
propia y por tanto son ellos los mas necesitados, además contamos con el lugar
adecuado dentro del recinto del orfanato para esta instalación, aunque entendemos
también estará abierta al resto de los niños y jóvenes de Bhimpedi.
El orfanato Bal Mandir da cobijo a 35 niños y niñas entre 5 y 14 años. Al colegio
Bhim Aadhar Community School (colegio administrado bajo el proyecto 3E) asisten en
la actualidad 143 niños y niñas entre 5 y 11 años y este colegio cuenta a su vez con
una sección de guardería que acoge a 30 niños y niñas de entre los 2 y los 5 años. A
su vez el Mahendra High School da escolaridad a casi 600 niños y niñas de entre los
5 y 15 años. Todos estos centros están ubicados en Bhimpedi y estos niños proceden
del mismo pueblo de Bhimpedi pero también de los alrededores y serían los pequeños
afortunados en poder aprender y practicar deporte en la instalación proyectada.
Este proyecto debe de entenderse integrado o, mejor decir, dependiente del
Proyecto 3E.
DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PROYECTO:
El presente proyecto pretende describir a grandes rasgos la ejecución de una pista
deportiva de uso múltiple que permita en un único espacio de 45 x 27 mts. construir
una pista para futbol-sala, balonmano, baloncesto y voleibol de carácter básico. La
pista propiamente dicha estará construida en cemento pulido y llevará pintados en

distinto color las marcas de los diferentes campos que se situarán sobre ella y
dispondrá de cerramientos verticales (mallas) en las traseras de las porterías.
El proyecto también incluye la dotación del equipamiento deportivo, como
porterías, canastas, redes, etc. Asimismo el proyecto incluye la formación de un
monitor deportivo así como equipamientos comunes para la práctica de estos deportes
(balones).
ALCANCE DEL PROYECTO:
Orfanato ‘Bal Mandir’ 35 niños y niñas hasta los 14 años
Colegio ‘Bhim Aadhar’ 143 niños y niñas desde los 5 a los 11 años
Mahendra High School 600 niños y niñas desde los 5 a los 15 años
Guardería 30 niños y niñas desde los 2 a los 5 años.
Algunos de los niños del orfanato están contabilizados en el Colegio Bhim Aadhar o en
el Mahendra, por lo que el total de niños no es la suma del numero de ellos indicados
arriba.
UBICACIÓN DE LA INSTALACIÓN:
La pista deportiva se construirá en terrenos del orfanato ‘Bal Mandir’ justo en la
parcela libre situada a la izquierda una vez traspasada la puerta de entrada (Se
adjunta foto).
ESTADO ACTUAL:
El terreno en el que se proyecta la construcción de la pista, se encuentra
actualmente en estado natural con vegetación original, sin árboles ni arbustos.
La topografía de la parcela es regular, de superficie uniforme y despejada (se
adjunta una imagen del terreno. Fig. 1).
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LAS OBRAS PROYECTADAS:
La parcela que se destina a la instalación deportiva proyectada, es de forma
rectangular y tiene una superficie suficiente para alojar una pista de 45 x 27 mts.
Orientación del campo preferente, normalmente el de balonmano/fútbol sala
orientación N-S.
MEDIDAS 1.- 45 x 27:
- 1 campo balonmano/fútbol sala (40 x20 – área de juego) (45 x 24 –
con el borde de seguridad)

- 1 campo voleibol ( 18 x 9) (28 x 15)
- 1 campo baloncesto (13 x 24) (15 x 27)
Esta distribución permite jugar a baloncesto, futbol sala, balonmano y voleibol,
de forma alternativa, no simultánea. Los campos de balonmano, futbol sala y voleibol
están colocados en el mismo eje N-S, y el campo de baloncesto está de forma
transversal. Esto nos permite tener las porterías y las canastas de baloncesto de forma
fija, y solo será móvil (poner y quitar) la red de voleibol con sus correspondientes
soportes.
Material deportivo (se adjunta documentación):
- 2 porterías de 3 x 2 m. de hueco interior con postes cuadrados,
preferiblemente con cantos redondeados, de entre 8 y 10 cm. de lado, pintados de
blanco y rojo o blanco y negro cada 20 cm., teniendo en cuenta que la escuadra
estará en color rojo o negro [40 cm. (20 largero y 20 de poste)].
La parte trasera donde se sujeta la red tendrá 80 cm. de fondo en la parte
superior, y 100 cm. en la inferior, unida entre sí y a los postes por una base
rectangular, y a los largeros en la parte superior.
Estará provista de un sistema para anclarse al suelo, bien sea pudiéndose
embutir en el terreno directamente, ó mediante los anillos o con tornillos en varías
puntas. Hay que buscar el sistema para embutir al suelo unos 20 cm. (ver anexos
BLM_3ª-LA PORTERIA BALONMANO y FTS_4-LA PORTERIA FUTBOL SALA)
- 2 canastas de baloncesto, preferiblemente mono-poste, con sistema para
anclar al suelo y tablero de chapa de 180 x 105 cm. con aro macizo. El poste de la
canasta redondo o cuadrado con cantos redondeados. La altura del aro al suelo
debe ser de 305 cm., y por lo tanto la base del tablero estará a 290 cm. del suelo
(estas alturas podrán ser menores en el caso de instalaciones para niños o jóvenes).
- 2 postes de voleibol de 120 mm. de diámetro embutidos en el suelo 40 cm. y
con sistema para tensar la red y posibilidad de colocar diferentes alturas

Marcajes (se adjunta documentación):
Las medidas de los campos indican la zona de juego. Hay que sumar los
espacios de seguridad o de juego permitido.
Construcción: - caídas
- recogida de agua
- Caídas. Al objeto de evacuar el agua, se realizarán los campos con caídas
preferentemente a 2 ó 4 aguas. Dada la zona y el uso, y al objeto de abaratar costes,
se propone efectuar el campo a 1 agua, de tal manera que se incline hacia el río con
un porcentaje entre el 0,8 y el 1 %, y sea una sola banda la que reciba el agua.
- Recogida de agua. Mediante canaleta prefabricada de hormigón, con rejilla
superior y arqueta de registro de 63x63x80 cm. colocada en el centro de tal manera
que la canaleta prefabricada confluya con ella. Desde esta arqueta saldrá el colector
enterrado de p.v.c. de 160 mm. de diámetro que saque el agua al río.
También es posible efectuar esa recogida sobre pieza prefabricada de
hormigón que hace a la vez de bordillo y canaleta.
Por otro lado, es posible no efectuar esa recogida, pero a la larga supone
además de una excesiva acumulación de agua en la explanada un deterioro de la
zona de la pista por donde caiga, ya que acabará erosionando el borde sobre la que
se sujeta.
Pista: - vaciado
- compactado
- hormigonado (para evitar la entrada de tierras la pista debería
ejecutarse elevación sobre el terreno de unos 10 cm.)

1) Retirada de escombros y tierras vegetales. Excavación y perfilado de caja
de 25 cm. de profundidad, efectuando la caída a 1 agua entre un 0,8 y 1 %.
2) Excavación de zanja perimetral para colocación de bordillo de piedra u
hormigón y canaleta de evacuación de aguas.
3) Extendido, nivelado, regado y compactado de sub-base granular formada
por tierras de aportación tipo z-2 o similar de 20 cm. de espesor
manteniendo la caída a 1 agua entre un 0.8 y 1 % , y con un Proctor
modificado del 98 % -> No deben existir zonas blandas.
4) Colocación de barrera antihumedad que evite que por capilaridad la
humedad llegue al hormigón (Plastico galga 100)
5) Colocación de bordillo perimetral de hormigón de 20 cm. de altura, este
bordillo va a impedir que los bordes de la pista se vayan rompiendo .
6) Solera de hormigón pulido de 15 cm. de espesor realizada con hormigón
HA-25, y armado con mallazo, efectuando la correspondiente pendiente de
la pista. Esta malla debe de tener los cuadros (15 x 15cm) cosidos entre sí.
La malla estará formada con redondo de acero de diámetro 6 mm.
7) Juntas de dilatación cada 3,50 a 4,0 mts. De separación con listón de
madera o porespan de 0,5 cm de ancho y 5 cm. De profundidad.
8) Colocación de vallas de alambrada de 4 mts. de altura en los fondos de las
porterías. Estas vallas estarán conformadas por unos soportes de tubo
sujetos al terreno mediante hormigonado cada 4 mts. (14 soportes en total)
y por la alambrada cruzada (hueco 8 cm), cosida a los tubos.
Barrera de protección:
En los laterales menores, los de 24 mts. correspondientes a las traseras de las
porterías de balonmano y futbol-sala se colocarán sendas barreras constituidas
por mallas de alambradas de 4 mts. de altura y hueco cuadrado de 15 cm. con
sus correspondientes soportes (6 en cada lateral) para impedir la perdida de
balones.

1) Escavado de pozos cuadrados de 30 x 30 x 50 cm. Para cimentado de los
soportes de la malla.
2) Colocación de los 12 (6 por cada lateral) soportes de tubo de 6cm. De
diámetro como soportes de la barrera.
3) Colocación de la malla de alambre de acero protegida contra corrosión con
una altura total de 4 mts. de altura y 24 mts. de largo.
4) Fijación de tirantes de alambre entre los soportes para reforzar el mallado.
PLAZOS DE EJECUCIÓN:
La ejecución del proyecto llevará desde el inicio de su construcción un plazo de
30 a 45 días aunque este plazo estará sujeto a la disponibilidad de los
materiales precisos.
No obstante el comienzo de las obras estará supeditado a la consecución de
los fondos precisos y una vez garantizados estos a la obtención de las
autorizaciones precisas según las normativas locales.
FINANCIACIÓN DEL PROYECTO
La financiación del proyecto se ha previsto cubrir con aportaciones de al menos
dos exponsores o patrocinadores y con aportaciones particulares.
Entre los patrocinadores previstos se encuentra la compañía Catai Tours y aún
nos falta identificar una segunda entidad o empresa.
En cuanto a las aportaciones particulares, se ha abierto una cuenta en el banco
BBVA específica para este proyecto en donde ya se han venido realizando algunas
aportaciones.

Las medidas que aparecen aquí para el campo de baloncesto son orientativas.
Las medidas que tendrá el campo de baloncesto a construir serán inferiores
proporcionalmente para permitir que se pueda montar de forma perpendicular al de
futbol-sala y balonmano en uno de sus laterales dentro del mismo. Por tanto la medida
mayor no sobrepasará los 24 mts. Las canastas deben de estar fijadas por fuera de la
marca de los campos de futbol-sala y de balonmano.

PROJECT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MIXED SPORTS
CENTER IN THE FACILITIES OF ‘BAL MANDIR’ BHIMPEDI (NEPAL)
BACKGROUND:
Bhimpedi is a small town in southern Nepal where a large number of children
and youth of all ages and in many other parts of Nepal these children do not have any
facility in which to do any sports or physical training.
Understand sport as a fundamental requirement for the physical and mental
development of children and young people at a time which manifests itself as a
determining factor for the development of values such as sportsmanship, camaraderie,
healthy competition and boost emotional balance themselves.
This project aims to provide a facility that serves primarily children from the
orphanage'Bal Mandir' of Bhimpedi, perhaps because it is precisely these less
fortunate childrenall by itself without family and therefore they are the most need, we
also have the right place within the grounds of the orphanage for this installation,
although we will also be open to other children and young people Bhimpedi.
Bal Mandir orphanage is home to 45 children aged between 5 and 14 years.
Bhim Aadhar to school Community School (school administered under the project 3E)
currently attending 143 children aged between 5 and 11 years and this school
has to turn to anursery section which houses 30 children between the 2 and 5 years. In
turn, the Mahendra High School provides education to nearly 600 children aged
between 5 and 15 years. All these centers are located in Bhimpedi and
these children come from the same village Bhimpedi but also in the vicinity and would
be small fortunate to be able to learn and play sports in the projected installation.
We proceed to write the following Project for the construction of a mixed sports
center for indoor football, basketball, handball and volleyball inside the facilities of the
orphanage ‘Bal Mandir’ in Bhimpedi (Nepal).
This project is understood to be part, or dependent of Project 3E.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project aims to outline the implementation of a multi-purpose sports court
to allow asingle space of 45 x 27 meters. build a track for indoor football, handball,
basketball andvolleyball basic character. The track itself is constructed in polished
concrete and were painted with different color marks the different fields
that are placed on it and havevertical walls (mesh) in the rear of the goals.
The project also includes the provision of sports equipment such as goals, baskets,
nets, etc. The project also includes a sports instructor training and common facilities for
these sports (football)
PROJECT SCOPE:
Orphanage Bal Mandir '40 children up to age 14
College 'Bhim aadhar' 143 children from 5 to 11 years
Mahendra High School 600 children from 5 to 15 years
Kindergarten 30 children from 2 to 5 years
CURRENT STATUS:
The land considered for the construction of the field is currently in its original
condition with local vegetation, without trees or bushes.
The topography of the parcel is regular and clear with even surface (picture of
the parcel attached. Fig. 1).
DESCRIPTION OF PLANNED WORK:
The parcel used for the planned sports center is rectangular and big enough to
fit a field of 45 x 27 mts.
Orientation of the main field, usually handball/indoor football is N-S.
SIZE 1.- 45 x 27:
- 1 handball/indoor football field (40 x 20 – playa area) (45 x 24 – extra
security edge)
- 1 volleyball field ( 18 x 9) (28 x 15)
- 1 basketball field (13 x 24) (15 x 27)

This distribution allows to play basketball, indoor football, handball and
volleyball alternatively, not simultaneously. The handball, indoor football and volleyball
fields are arranged North-South, and the basketball field is transverse. This allows us
to have the goals and baskets fixed, and the posts and net for the volleyball field as the
only movable parts.
SPORTS EQUIPMENT:
- 2 goals of 3 x 2 m. with squared posts, preferably with round edges and sides
of between 8 and 10 cm., painted in white and red or white and black every 20 cm.,
having in mind that the corner of the net will be painted red or black [40 cm. (20 for
the crossbar and 20 for the post)].
The back side where the net is hung will be 80 cm. deep on top, and 100 cm. on
bottom, connected between them and to the posts by a rectangular base, and to the
crossbar on top.
It will feature a system to fix it to the ground either by stuffing it into it, with rings
or with screws with several tips. A system to stuff it about 20 cm. into the ground has
to be researched (see annex BLM_3ª- LA PORTERIA BALONMANO y FTS_4-LA
PORTERIA FUTBOL SALA)
- 2 baskets for the basketball field, preferably with a single post, with a system
to fix it to the ground and a metal sheet for the backboard of 180 x 105 cm. with a
solid hoop. The post is round or squared with round edges. The height of the hoop
must be 305 cm., and therefore the base of the backboard will be at 290 cm. from the
ground (these heights can be smaller in the case of fields for kids or youths).
- 2 volleyball posts of 120 mm. diameter stuffed 40 cm. into the ground. With a
system to tighten the net and adjust it at different heights:
Male 243 cm.
Youths 230 cm.
Female 224 cm.
Kids 215 y 200 cm.

MARKING:
The dimensions of the fields indicate the playable area. Security edges have to
be added.
CONSTRUCTIVE CHARACTERISTICS:
Construction : - Slopes
- Water collection
- Slopes. With the purpose of evacuating water, the fields will present 2 or 4
slopes. Given the area and its use, and with the aim to cut expenses, it is suggested to
build the field with 1 slope to the river with an inclination between 0,8% and 1%,
making it the only side that gets the water.
- Water collection. Through a prefabricated concrete pipe, with a grating on top
and an inspection hatch of 63x63x80 cm. set in the center in such a way that the
prefabricated pipe meets in it. From this hatch will come out the buried PVC drainpipe
of 160 mm. of diameter that evacuates the water to the river.
It is also possible to collect the water with a prefabricated piece of concrete that
works both as an edge for the field and as a drainpipe.
On the other hand, it is also possible to not collect the water but in the long
term, apart from an excessive accumulation of water in the plain, it would damage the
field and wear away the edge that holds it.
Field: - Emptying
- Compacting
- Concrete addition (to avoid the penetration of the land in the field it
should be built 10 cm. above the ground).
1) Debris and vegetation removal. Excavation and profiling of a 25 cm deep
box, making the slope between 0,8% and 1%.
2) Digging for the construction of the rock or concrete ditch and the drainpipe.

3) Spreading, leveling, watering and compacting of granular sub-base made of
soil of type z-2 or similar, of 20 cm. of thickness, keeping the one slope
between 0.8 y 1 % , and with a modified Proctor of 98 % -> there must not
be soft areas.
4) Placing of the moisture resistant barrier that prevents water filtering to the
concrete layer (Plastic gauge 100)
5) Placing of the concrete boundary edge of 20 cm. high. This edge prevents
the damage on the sides of the field.
6) Polished concrete curb of 15 cm. of thickness made with concrete of type
HA-25, reinforced with rebar mesh, with the expected slope. This rebar
mesh must have tiles (15 x 15cm) interlaced and will be made of steel rod of
6 mm. of diameter.
7) Expansion joints every 3,50 to 4,0 mts. with wood strips or expanded
polystyrene of 0,5 cm. of thickness and 5 cm. deep.
8) Placing of the wire fence of 3m. high at the back of the goals. These fences
will be made out of supporting tubes fixed to the ground with concrete, and
with the wire fence hooked to these tubes.
EXECUTION TIME:
Project implementation will take from the start of construction within 30 to 45
days, although this period will be subject to the availability of materials needed.
Notwithstanding the commencement of work shall be subject to the
achievement of the necessary funds and a guaranteed time to obtain these
permits precise according to local regulations.
