Objectives
In our PI ProcessBook and PIDataLink class for power users,
we teach how to use andmaximize the use of our PIClient Applications. In additionof the materials covered in ourstandard class, we show usershow to create reusable displaysand reports, create ad-hocequations and use Visual Basicfor Applications to create usefulProcessBook applications.Much of the class time isdedicated to hands-on activities.

Note: This is a general guideline for the course. The instructor adjusts the classcontent to fit the students requirements. This means you'll spend more time onsubjects that are important to you and less t ime on subjects that are lessrelevant to your situation. However, the trainer will not go beyond the scope othis training package. For custom training please contact your salesrepresentative.
Timeline
The class dates will be mutually agreed upon at acceptance of the proposalOSIsoft requires a minimum of 2 weeks notice in order to prepare coursedocumentation and assign a trainer. OSIsoft will ship training material at leas5 days before the first day of training.We suggest having the class from Tuesday to Thursday. Monday will be usedto install and test training equipment and training software.
Requirements
The customer is responsible for providing a properly equipped classroom. The
minimum requirements for a classroom are:
Access to training room for the duration of the class including preparationday for software setup
One PC per student with a Pentium III or better, 512 MB RAM or more, 1GB free hard disk space, Networked TCP/IP, Windows 2000/XP, Excel, PSMT, PI Universal Data Server, PI ProcessBook and PI DataLink
Class room equipment: flip chart, a white board or a white screen and acompatible Laptop projector (1024 x 768)
Student body should be comprised of individuals with the following skill set:
This class is taught in a Windows 2000/XP environment, and is designed fostudents who have a good understanding of that environment. You wilhave to open and close files, locate files in different directories, and usemenus and toolbars
Students will spend an entire day using Microsoft Excel, so knowing how towork in Excel is a pre-requisite for this class
No specific knowledge of PI Applications is required

This package includes 3 days of OSIsoft training service excluding travel timeand training room preparation. Travel and living expenses will be invoiced acost.
