Competition Format:

• The ground will be marked (P, B, T, S) for where Pipers / Bass / Tenor / Snares Drummers are to stand.

• There will be additional (P, B, T, S) on the ground for bands with larger pipe corps / drum corps.

• Bands with smaller numbers can set themselves up from the centre, again with Pipers / Bass / Tenor / Snares Drummers standing on their respective (P, B, T, S)

• Pipe Major will stand out front. • Bands will march into arena not playing, tap into position. • The bands will be judged by two panels of 3 adjudicators (piping, drumming, ensemble)

based on the new PBQ judging system • The adjudicators will be seated / stationary in a shade tent • Dress will also be judged for this competition.

Bands are requested to advise the contest recorder when they arrive. Judging sheets and master sheets will be available at the end of the competition, once all bands have competed as usual. There will be no massed bands at this event. Results:

o There will be no trophies or presentation this year o Results will be announced at the conclusion of the competition over the PA at the ground. o Prize money will be transferred electronically to successful bands

Our role is to co-ordinate pipe band activities and regulate competitions.
