Pioneer DiningTake advantage of convenient meal plan options that help save time and allow you to enjoy dining with friends. Residential meal plans are included in the cost of housing. The red and the black meal plans are included in the suites pricing. The Pioneer Plan is included in the apartment pricing, for all non-freshman who are not living in the suites.

RED PLAN 7 days (Monday – Sunday) — Unlimited access in the Dining Commons — $125 cash value flex dollars to spend at any on-campus eatery (First-year freshman)

BLACK PLAN5 days (Monday – Friday) — Unlimited access in the Dining Commons — $225 cash value flex dollars to spend at any on-campus eatery (First-year freshman)

PIONEER PLAN60 block meals per quarter — $200 cash value flex dollars to spend at any on-campus eatery (Non-freshman)

Housing Tours AvailableHousing tours are given by our student staff and are available Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.- 3 p.m., except the week prior to and during finals to respect the studies of the students. Please check in at the Lassen Hall Housing Office upon arrival to complete a short registration form.

The Housing Office is located in Lassen Hall, 1901 Harder Road, Hayward, CA 94542.

Pioneer HeightsPioneer Heights is Cal State East Bay’s largest residence hall complex, and includes 10 buildings. Three buildings are dedicated to first-year freshmen, where we help establish a solid foundation for your college journey through building a shared community. Pioneer Heights also offers one building dedicated to sophomore success, as well as Transfer Living Learning Communities that focus on a successful transition from community college to Cal State East Bay.

One convenient bill — Charges for your residence will appear in your MYCSUEB account each quarter. All utilities, internet and meal plans are included.

Fewer one-time costs — All rooms are furnished with extra-long twin-size beds, desks, chairs, dressers and closets, as well as furnished common spaces.

Affordability — Installment plans are available and financial aid may be directly applied to cover housing expenses.

Easy access to campus — There is no need to spend time commuting or finding a parking space when you live on campus. There is also convenient shuttle service to campus from our University Village community.
