Materials

1. Hypothesize how to best make a ping pong ball parachute that will stay in the air the longest2. Experiment and test out different materials for the parachute and the tethers3. Attach the tethers and the parachute to the ping pong ball4. Time how long your Ping Pong Parachute stays in the air (try throwing it in the air, dropping it from a balcony, launching it, etc. - we will provide a uniform launcher at Science Day)5. Compare with classmates to see which Ping Pong Parachute stays in the air the longest, the school winner will compete at Science Day the school winner will compete at Science Day
