The Consortium for Aerospace Research and Innovation in Canada (CARIC) is a non-profit organization established in 2014 with the federal government’s financial support. CARIC fosters communication and collaboration between players in the aerospace industry and encourages initiatives, providing strategic, financial and administrative support for collaborative R&D projects.

In Canada, research and development in the aerospace industry saw 23% growth between 2010 and 20151. CARIC contributes significantly to Canadian aerospace innovation through its support of collaborative research projects.
