“HARD WORK ALWAYS YIELD PROFIT, IDLE TALK BRINGS ONLY WANT.” (Proverb 14:23)
The Book of Proverbs in the bible tells us truths not only concerned with the sublime or the divine. It also speaks to us about the realities of human experi-ence which includes the mundane, and with the rela-tionship between that experience and the divine.
When progress, development is sought and moving forward is aspired for, even elementary reason tells us that such sublime realities can never be actual-ized by mere talking and dreaming or by simply think-ing and proclaiming them. Unless an outright miracle takes place, individuals who are basically lazy or apa-
thetic, purely rhetorical, simply talkative and the like would eventually wallow in medioc-rity and shame but never achieve something if not oddity and infamy.
The above-cited Proverb might be hafd to accept but, it remains true. It could be dif-ficult to observe but there is no other way to move forward, to become capable, to achieve something or to be of service to more and more people.
With the above thoughts in mind, I extend my warmest felicitations and greetings to the good people of Barangay Balangobong as you celebrate your Annual Barangay Fiesta 201 1. May this happy occasion give you the opportunity to express your gratitude to God for all the blessings he has extended to you in his loving providence and to renew yourselves and really work together for the realization ofwhat you aspire for your people and Barangay as indicated in your theme: “SULONG BALANGOBONG PILLARS WADYA LAWAS.”

In celebrating our fiesta, it is not only a religious holiday/festival but also an occasion by which our
people can be assembled for a social interaction and entertainment. It’s an opportunity to strengthen the bond of all “Balangobongian” here in the Philippines and abroad. The fiesta is part of our culture, socialization and lifestyle and let us continue and uphold is kind of celebration.

In occasion like this, we especially have to look upon the Good Lord and give Him praise and glory for all the blessings and for continued guidance in years to come. Let us be thankful that our barangay was spared from the past disastrous calamities but let us not forget to pray for those that were greatly affected.

We are pleased to announce the NEWLY CONSTRUCTED two-storey BARANGAY HALL of Balangobong under the leadership of our beloved Brgy. Capt. Ford V. Flores. Funding for the project was sourced from Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. in cooperation with our Town Mayor Jonas Castaneda.
The construction of the Barangay Hall project kicked off last year and finished this month of April. It will be opened soon for the public or maybe by the time you are reading this the Barangay Hall has already been inaugurated
