Thursday 06 - Sunday 09 September 2018 Dear Friend, This year 2018, 11 February will be more important than usual: it will not only be the XXVI World Day of the Sick, but will also celebrate 160 years since the first apparition of Mary at the Grotto in Lourdes. We are once again organising our annual Pilgrimage to Lourdes led by our Spiritual Director Rev. Fr. Claude Portelli, parish priest of St. Julian’s from Thursday 06 to Sunday 09 September 2018. Saturday 08 September 2018 is a national holiday – the Feast of Our Lady of Victories. We will be spending 3 nights in Lourdes in the modern 4 star Hotel Astrid which is located just 3 minutes walk from St. Joseph’s Gate, the principal entrance to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. A full, detailed itinerary is enclosed. The prices enclosed herewith include 3 nights’ accommodation in the aforementioned 4 star hotel on full board basis, return Ryanair flight to Toulouse, return coach transfers between Toulouse Airport and the hotel, tips for the coach driver, services of our Spiritual Director Rev. Fr. Claude Portelli and the services of a group leader. Since we have already had to pre-purchase in full a Ryanair airline seat allocation for our group, the quoted prices are applicable for the first 20 reservations we receive. For subsequent reservations the prices may change depending on the fares Ryanair charges us for extra seats beyond the first 20 seats. In the case of any reservations subsequent to the first 20 seats we will of course advise you of any price changes so that you may decide how to proceed. Due to the above please complete and return the enclosed booking form together with a deposit of Euro 200 per traveller to 5 Olive Street, The Gardens, St. Julian’s, STJ 1951, Malta to secure your booking by 08 March 2018. Full payment is required by 31 July 2018. Reservations will be registered when the deposit is received and these will be treated strictly on a first-come first-served basis. Changes and cancellations

Should you wish to change your holiday arrangements in any way, we will endeavour to meet your wishes to the best of our ability. A handling fee may be levied and we reserve the right to pass on charges that may be imposed by suppliers. If you cancel your booking a cancellation can only be accepted in writing from any person listed on the booking form. If the reason for your cancellation falls within the terms of your insurance cover you may be able to claim a refund of your cancellation charges from your insurance company. In the event of a cancellation the following cancellation charges apply:

If written notification is received by V. Tabone Travel prior to 31 July 2018, the cancellation charge will be Euro 200 per traveller. If written notification is received by V. Tabone Travel on or later than 31 July 2018, the cancellation charge will be 100% of the quoted/invoice total.

Your responsibilities

It is your responsibility to ensure that you and those for whom you are booking, are in possession of valid passports/travel documents and appropriate visas. You are responsible for any charges, fines etc. that may be levied by authorities in Malta or overseas for non-compliance with regulations. It is your responsibility to check with your doctor that you are fit to travel. It is your responsibility to ensure that you carry a European Health Insurance card for travel within EU countries which provides limited cover. In addition we strongly recommend that you have travel insurance. If you have any special dietary requirements, or any other requirements, it is important that you request these at the time of booking in the Special requirements section – we will do our best to accommodate you. We do our best to give you an enjoyable, trouble free holiday but occasionally even the best plans can go wrong. If you have any complaint whilst abroad, you must report the matter to your group leader immediately giving him or her opportunity to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with the outcome you must send in your complaint in writing to reach us within 7 days of your return to Malta. Failure to comply with these instructions will result in us not entertaining your complaint.
