Kenro have distributed Tokina lenses in the UK for a numberof years. Tokina lenses are extremely well engineered withtop class optical quality and are now a very serious optionwith both Canon and Nikon Digital SLR users. Most of thelenses have been positively reviewed and tested by a number of leading journalists in the industry.

Tokina AT-X TechnologyThis stands for Tokina “Advanced Technology Extra” and is the latest programme of lenses developed over the past 20 years usingthe most advanced design and fabrication technologies available.

Mechanisms - All metal moving parts are coated with a speciallubricant to improve durability. Brass is used in the lens mountingfor precision and other mechanisms are hard chrome plated for durability.

Exterior Finish - PRO models have a hardened Armalitefinish. For ease of focusing and general handling, the zoom andfocusing controls have textured rubber coatings, specially designed by Tokina to give years of service without deteriorating.

Lens Coatings - Tokina use a special coating to reduce flare andghosting on all of their lenses, which also assists in more enhanced colour reproduction.

Water Repellent Coating -“WR Coating” The front element oncertain Tokina lenses has a “WR Coating”. This enables watermarks and fingerprints to be wiped off quickly and easily. It doesnot mean that the lens itself is waterproof.

Tokina One Touch Focus Clutch Mechanism - This feature allows the photographer to switch from AF to MF with a snap action on the focus ring.

“SD” Super Dispersion Glass Feature - Certain lenses use SDlens elements. This is done to reduce the number of lens elementsand to make the overall lens lighter, more compact and faster focusing.

The sizes are 2.4 x 2.7 Metreswith an additional size of 2.9 x 5 metres in certain colours. All backgrounds have a sewn hem on the short side for the background support bar and fit our own background system.

Kenro Portable Backdrop PanelsThese are washable cotton background cloths which are on foldablesprung frames. When open they are held on a frame which expands out to 62x76 inches, when not in use they fold downand fit into a flat pack just 26“ in diameter. These panels are idealfor a small studio where space is at a premium or for location photography. The panels can be propped or hung up. There is alsoa support stand available. Available in five colours.

Large Still Life TableThe Large Still Life Table is designed for shadow less photographyof medium to large sized items and products. It has a rigid, white,translucent panel which is formed over a strong aluminium tableframe which has telescopic legs for height adjustment. The panelsize is 96x200cm. The dimensions of the assembled table are asshown. The table may be used in the Studio or can be disassembled for location work. There is a carry bag supplied.
