PIANC FinComWhat We Do
Our objective is that FinCom, in close collaboration with the
Secretary-General, shall:
• oversee the sound financial management of the Association on a
cost-effective basis in accordance with the Statutes;
• overview the financial transactions of the previous year, the
audited accounts, the management of the portfolio and the
overall financial situation of the Association;
• prepare for submission the annual budget and pay special
attention to the medium-term forecast of expenditures and
receipts for the ensuing three years;
• keep under review the accounting system of the Association and
the allocation of funds to the various activities;
• inform ExCom and report accordingly to Council and the AGA.

• We have had a reasonable year
• Membership has increased by 85 Individual Members
• Subscriptions have increased by € 45k but subventions have
decreased by € 30k
• Sales are over budget, up from € 20k to nearly € 30k
• Value of the Portfolio and annual income have decreased
• Yearbook profit of € 7,564
• However, smaller surplus of € 2,392 against a budget of € 36,170!
• PIANC-COPEDEC results are still outstanding, as well as a number of
subvention payments
• Think Climate Change seminar funded
