Plexus 2019

Annual festival of M.I.M.E.R Medical College and MAEER`s Physiotherapy College

was a three day festival organized by the students of 2nd BPTh and II / II MBBS, from the

13th March to 15th March 2019. The theme for plexus this year was “HALL OF FAME”,

which celebrated our profession as doctors.

DAY 1 – 13TH MARCH 2019

9.00 AM – 10.30 AM Thursday the table

In this activity the students debated with themselves as they spoke for and against on a

topic given to them. Dr. Priya Chitre ma`am (BPTH) was one one of the judges for the

same.

10.30 AM – 11.30 Eat it up

This was a sequel to “The Eat It Up” activity conducted during Vakratunda 2018. Here

the participants had to eat a variety of eatables ranging from spicy noodles to vada pav.

11.30 AM – 2.00 PM Tea with Teachers

This was a fun activity for the teachers where they played a variety of games from the

Bollywood quiz to Dumb Charades. Dr. Aishwarya Kanhere Madam (BPTh) was a part of

the winning team.

3.30PM – 4.00 PM Lighting Of The Lamp

The official cultural events were commenced by Dr. Suchitra Nagare Madam (Executive

director M.I.M.E.R Medical College) by lighting the lamp followed by Ganesh Vandana.

4.00 pm – 4.30 pm MBBS/BPTh Ist Year skit

The MBBS& BPTh first years presented a skit signifying the seven deadly sins, pride,

anger, envy, greed, sloth, gluttony and list.

5.00 PM – 8:45 PM Step up (Dance competition)

This was intra college dance competition where the students displayed their talent in

dance and expressed themselves beautifully.

The judges for the same were,

DAY 2 – 14TH MARCH 2019

9.00 AM – 11.00 AM Masquerade (Mask Making Competition)

In this activity the students showcased their creative talent by making beautiful masks

leaving everyone spellbound with their talent. Dr. Sayli Paldhikar Madam (BPTh) was the

judge for this competition.

11.00 AM – 1.00 PM – Plexus - MD

This was a quiz pertaining to some of the most famous medical TV shows.

4.00PM – 6.30 PM – Symphony (Singing Competition) this was an intra-college singing

competition, where the students mesmerized everybody with their melodious voices.

Praveen Nair displayed his talent and left everyone astonished with his skills.

The annual day comprised of felicitating the winners of each category , the dignitaries

and the Chief Guest for the evening was Dr. Sanjay Upadhyay .

9.00pm onwards – Dinner.
