Stockton University’s DPT program is a professional, entry-level program designed to prepare students to take the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) and apply for licensure in the United States. The mission of the DPT program is to prepare students for contemporary physical therapy practice. The program includes:• Three years of full-time study.

• Small class size for individual attention by faculty.

• Unique learning experiences at Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation and AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s Mainland Campus, both located on Stockton’s main campus.

• Three full-time clinical experiences in facilities concentrated in the mid-Atlantic region, with additional sites outside the area.

The application process into Stockton’s DPT program is two-fold with submission of:• an application through the Physical Therapy Centralized Application System (PTCAS) at

www.ptcas.org.

• DiscoverStockton’s Supplemental CAS Application

Program specific admissions information including prerequisite course requirements can be reviewed on the PTCAS Stockton Program Profile page.

ADMISSIONS CRITERIAThe DPT program is among the most competitive at the University. It is a doctoral program that strives to meet the highest academic and professional standards. Admission is very selective. Students are considered once per year; a new class of students (cohort) begins every fall.
