What emotional impact do you want your photography do have upon the reader? How?I would like my photography to excite the reader, as most magazines of this genre do. To do this I will include bold colours to contrast with the usual black and white. These colours will most likely be included in the writing and the models makeup.

What personnel do you need? Who are you going to photograph?

My model is Molly Williamson and she will be in most, if not

all of my images. I don’t believe that I will need any

other personnel as the model can do her own makeup very

well.

What props will you need?I haven’t yet decided on props for the front

cover or contents page. But I plan to

write my article about the model

ranking their favourite albums and

so I may use CDs in the photographs for

the article.

How are you going to emphasise colour?

My model has brightly coloured hair and will be wearing bright green shoes. This will be contrasting with the otherwise dark colour

scheme of the magazine.

Have you briefed your personnel/models?

I haven’t yet briefed the model, but will be doing so in the next few days once I have decided on a location, costume and makeup.

What lighting will you need? Any other equipment? If in a studio, multiple lights will be needed along with the backdrop and light meter. If outside, natural lighting will be used and so the only equipment needed will be the camera.

Where will you shoot? Will you

need a backdrop?I will either shoot in the photography studio of the college or perhaps

at the bandstand in Barnes Park. I haven’t

yet decided which, and I may even need both.

The photography studio has the option of either

a black or white background and

currently my plan is to use the white

background with both low and high key

lighting.

Make-up? Costume?

The model’s makeup will be coloured to

match her hair. For example, it is

currently purple and so if it stays that

colour the model will be wearing purple

eyeshadow. Her costume is yet

undecided but will most likely include

ninja turtle Dr Martens.
