Page 1: Photography plans

Photography Plan: Front Cover 1

• Shot: Medium Close up • Angle: High

• Mise-en-scene:

• Characters- One famous girl singer• Costume- quite dressy as if going out

to a party, heavily styled hair and make-up

• Location- same tunnel as the picture before

• Props- none

• This is how the artist will appear in the frame. I have chosen to use the model Emily as she is 17 and will appeal to the target market. A medium close up will be used so it focuses more on the face and hair, instead of a whole body shot.

Photography Plan: Front Cover 2

• Shot: Medium long shot• Angle: Eye-level• Mise-en-scene:

• Characters- One 17 year old boy, a famous singer

• Costume- A top and jeans, with a hoodie, casual dress and natural hair

• Location- Outside, with some bricks/houses in the background

• Props- no props

• This is where the artist would be in the frame. I have chosen the model Freddie as he will appeal to a female audience, but also a male audience who are inspired by his music. I have chosen a medium shot as I think it will fit in best with the rest of the contents on the front page.

Photography Plan: Front Cover 3

• Shot: Long shot/ extreme long shot• Angle: slight low angle, looking up at the model

who is pulling a pose

• Mise-en-scene:

• Characters- One 17 year old girl, a famous singer• Costume- Quite dressy as if going out to a party,

lots of make up and big hair • Location- In a tunnel, to show the urban side to

some of the chart genre• Props- no props

• This is how the artist will appear in the frame. I have chosen to use Ola as the model because she will appeal to both male and female readers. I have chosen to use a long shot so all of her outfit can be seen by the audience. The low angle will make her look powerful, soshe can act as an idol.

Photography Plan: Front Cover 4

• Shot: Medium Long Shot• Angle: Eye Level

• Mise-en-scene:

• Characters- one young male• Costume- casual clothes, jeans and a shirt• Location-outside a house in snowy scenery,

natural light• Props- guitar

• This is how the artist appears in the frame. I have chosen to use the model Tolly as he plays the guitar, so he represents the proportion of artists who play their own instruments and he will appeal to any readers who also play instruments. He is wearing casual clothes as this reflects the outfits of the current male chart successes.

• Props- none

• This is how the artist would appear in the frame. The model used will be Nathan, a teenage boy. This shot is similar to the one that is on the front cover, so it highlights the feature. It will be a slightly different background so it shows a range in the photo shoot. I have used an eye level angle so it appears as if the model is staring directly into the frame.
