I think this photo is good because A) the little girl in the photo is very cute which would draw a lot of people into looking at a photo, B) the photographer has cleverly used a neutral background so all the focus is on the objects in the foreground- the girl on the chair, the Pointe shoes on a hat stand and the flower on the floor. The innocent look on the girl’s face shows she is still very young but the fact that she has pointed her toes shows that she is relatively experienced for her age.I believe there are two ways of looking at this. 1) The Pointe shoes next to her show she has an ambition to be able to dance on Pointe when she is older or 2) These Pointe shoes belong to an older person and they have brought back this memory of when she started learning to dance and when she had an ambition.

First of all i like this picture because i like cake , i don’t see why anyone wouldn’t. Also the colours are very attractive and bright. Also i love how a good cake maker can make a cake look like anything, like in the photo there is an apple, a box of popcorn and various lollies. I think its a good photo because it is visually attractive so it makes people look at it. This includes the colours, the subject and the fact that it is cake.

I think this is a good photo because the colours of the sunset give a very mellow yet relaxed feel, and the fact that you can still see the sea gives it a very nostalgic feel because everyone has memories of being by the sea. The beach has this connection with paradise and the feeling of paradise which could say that to these people whatever they are doing is what they love. I personally just love how the sun comes through the middle of this shot which proves that the photographer had an eye for good light. Finally I like how the people are silhouetted because, because of the poses they are in you can see that they are having fun and a good time without having to see their faces.

I personally like food and I like the colours of watermelon. I also like it because it shows what you can do with food when you put your mind to it. I think it makes a good photo because it inspires people to think beyond the original purpose of things i.e. the consumption of food, and also it just generally puts a smile on peoples faces. The colours are quite bright and cheerful and although the idea of a shark is quite scary the fact it is made out of watermelon, puts a slight humorous side to it.

I think this is a good photo because first of all they have incorporated things to do with music into the word. For example the treble clef in the ‘S’, the banjo in front of the ‘M’ and the music score in the ‘I’. I like it because I am a big music fan and I believe that music can solve many things and can express pretty much anything.
