Congratulations Adam!

Adam (Year 6) has been selected to represent our school as part of the Sydney South West Basketball Team. Adam took part in tryouts, with approximately 100 other boys, and was one of only 10 selected for the team.

The Sydney South West Team will compete in the PSSA Primary Boys Basketball Championships over three days from the 7th of May, held in Maitland.

Well done Adam, we are so proud of your achievement!

Office Hours - Macquarie Fields PS office hours are Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 3:15pm. All EFTPOS transactions need to be processed daily by 2pm, so please come to the office before 2pm to make any EFTPOS payments.

On Monday, 1st April Imogen and Holley represented Macquarie Fields

PS as part of the Fields Zone Girls Soccer Team. They competed in

games throughout that day and had some great wins! Well done girls!

Principal’s ReportThank YouIt is hard to believe that this is our last newsletter for the term. It has been an incredibly busy and successful term for Macquarie Fields Public School with our teachers working hard to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences to our students. A huge thank you to our amazing teachers who have worked hard on their own professional learning as well as the learning of our students. It has been an honour to lead this incredible school throughout term 1. I would like to thank all students, staff and the community for their hard work and support over the last ten weeks and have no doubt that our fantastic school community will continue to grow and strengthen as we move into the next term.

School Holidays – Term 2 School holidays are fast approaching. Please note that students return for term two on Tuesday 30 April.

Harmony DayThank you to all community members for your participation in our Harmony Day activities. We all belong at Macquarie Fields Public School and Harmony Day provides us with a wonderful opportunity to showcase our diversity and celebrate our unity. Thank you to all who attended and to our amazing teachers and students for providing such an amazing experience.
