The Role of The Pelvic Floor:

1. Support the pelvic organs.2. Assist in stopping and starting the flow of

How to Locate the Pelvic Floor Muscles:

a. Place your fingertip on or into the rectal opening. Now, contract and lift the muscles as though you were holding back gas or a bowel movement. You should feel the anal opening tighten and your penis move slightly.

b. Try not to tense the muscles of your buttocks or legs.
