What i meant about OPPORTUNITIES were these:

Being the Editor In-Chief of our very first school publication…




…where I learned how to express myself in writing and in every flick of my camera




Excelling in academics

Joining various competitions in Journalism, Math & Sciences




…where I learned with the experiences of others and look in the greater scheme of things




Being an athlete… A volleyball, badminton player…Being a dancer, a singer and instrument player…




…where I learned the value of athleticism, teamwork and sportsmanship… that in life we don’t always win and we learned so much in our failures rather of our triumphs




Being a model…Brooke’s Point Philippines




…where I learned that everyone has flaws yet we should always remember that we are made in the likeness of God and that means we are emblems of beauty and dignity.

How I gave back:

I joined outreach programs acquainted with the Ten Outstanding Students of the PhilippinesFeeding Programs, Read Aloud Programs, Literacy Training Seminars, etc.



How I gave back:

I go to church regularly and participate in the programs it organizes… Currently, I am under Christian Leadership Development Program (CLDP) Stage 3. Actively involved in Sunday School Ministry



How I gave back:

I give the best of what I have in every endeavor I choose and in every undertaking I come across with.

But then, how do I REALLY empower

women more specifically the girls of my age?

I’ll be of service to the needy especially the girls in my country. I’ll spread their plights through journalism and social media. Most importantly, I’ll serve as a role model especially now that I’m a ‘Girl Ambassador’ so that when I let my light shine, other girls will do the same.



Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments; but rather by means of good works, as befits women making a claim to godliness.
