K-9 Harness Our K-9 Harness, made of durable nylon with multiple D-rings for attaching leashes as well as a reinforced handle, is ideal for law enforcement and military working dogs. These harnesses are all South Dakota Made in the Pheasantland Industries Upholstery Shop at the State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls.

One of our oldest traditional Prison Industries is the License Plate Shop. I haven’t talked about it much because we cannot sell the plates directly to our customers. License plates are an official state registration so they can only be produced with the permission and at the direction of the Division of Motor Vehicles. I decided I would give a pitch for personalized plates. We made 3,132 auto pairs and 391 single motorcycle personalized plates last year. If you decide you would like a personalized plate they can be ordered at your local County Courthouse or on the web at:
