PhD, Postdoc, Visiting Positions in Security & Networking at Cyber-Physical Systems Security Lab (CSL) at FIU Applications are invited for two PhD student and one Postdoctoral researcher positions, available in the Cyber-Physical Systems Security Lab (CSL) (http://csl.fiu.edu) within the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, USA. The positions are available immediately. The candidates are expected to work under the supervision of Professor A. Selcuk Uluagac on exciting and novel research problems at the intersection of networking and security fields with a particular emphasis on their practical and applied aspects as a member of the Cyber-Physical Systems Security Lab. Several research areas are of great interest: Security of Internet of Things, security of Cyber-Physical Systems, security of critical Infrastructure networks (e.g., smart-grid), big data security, and security of wireless and mobile devices. Some of the equipment (e.g., Google smart thermostat, smart watches, health/fitness trackers, Google glass, MS Kinect, iRobot, drones) available to the students for their research activities are shown below. Applicants who have a bachelors or masters degrees in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or closely related field with an emphasis on security and computer networks are strongly encouraged to contact Prof. Uluagac at [email protected].
