Phrasal verbs

In my own word. The phrasal verbs are words that are formed by combining verbs with prepositions or adverbs. This results in new phrasal verb with a very different meaning than it gives us the dictionary for individual verbs. We must remember that some phrasal verbs have two different meaning.

For example:

These Phrasal Verbs are very easy to learn.

GET ON ( Subir-Montarse)The taxi driver was full. We couldn´t get on.

COME BACK ( Volver a algún lugar)My mom is leaving tomorrow and she come back the next Saturday.

BREAK DOWN ( Dejar de funcionar-Romperse)

Sorry, I´m late. The motorcycle broke down.

LOOK OUT ( Ser cuidadoso- Prestar atención)

I look out all my class.

RUN AWAY (Alejarse-Huir)Why did you run away from me?

KEEP UP (Llevar el ritmo)You are dancing very fast. I can´t keep up with you.

LOOK FORWARD (Esperar algo emocionado)

I look forward my first job day.

GET IN ( Entrar)How did the thieves get in?

MOVE IN (Mudarse)I have a new apartment. I move in the next Friday.

EAT OUT (Comer afuera)I don´t like cooking the Sunday. I would prefer eat out all Sundays.
