Project HOPE is a global nonprofit organization that

provides solutions to the world’s most pressing health

crises through developing, managing and implement-

ing innovative global health and humanitarian assis-

tance programs.

In 2015, Project HOPE delivered expert health pro-

gramming and local health care worker training to help meet the

medical needs of the most vulnerable families and communities

across more than 30 countries. Our areas of focus included noncom-

municable diseases, infectious diseases, women’s and children’s

health and health systems strengthening.

HOPE’s twofold humanitarian assistance program continued to

provide emergency help in disaster zones, like Nepal and Sierra

Leone, while also strengthening developing or weakened health

systems with donations of critically needed medicines and medical

supplies.

Volunteers, who have been a part of Project HOPE’s legacy since

its founding in 1958, played a vital role in the lifesaving work of

the organization. Alongside staff, volunteers reinforced global health

programs, responded to disasters and supported

HOPE’s ongoing partnership on humanitarian missions

with the U.S. Navy.

In addition to our lifesaving programs, Health Affairs,

published by Project HOPE since 1981, continued to

be the leading journal of health policy thought and re-

search. In 2015, Health Affairs was rated number one among all

scholarly journals in health policy (Thomson Reuters’ 2015 Journal

Citation Reports®) and attracted readers in more than 200 countries.

Thank you for helping Make HOPE Happen.
