The Coxon’s Radiators Parts Exchange will get your trucks and HME equipment operating with minimal downtime for planned maintenance and emergency breakdowns. Truck availability ultimately affects production, and we can help keep your trucks operating. Even in the case of a breakdown, we can have exchange units to you within 12 hours. Our conveniently located Rockhampton facility also saves on freight costs throughout the Bowen and Galilee Basins.

Notable exchange units include a complete 797F nose cone module (including radiator, ataac, cowling, stairs and fan), as well as radiators for 797B, 795F, 793C/D/F, 789C, 785C, D11T, D11R, D10T, 24H, 830E and EX5500. Mine Safe Caps & Mansafes

Coxon’s are a leading Australian supplier of minesafe radiator caps and mansafes, a compliance requirement on the majority of mine sites.

Our mine safe radiator caps with brass pin lever release allows pressure to be released prior to removing the radiator cap in order to prevent scalding injuries.

The mansafes enable Caterpillar and Komatsu machinery to adapt to using minesafe caps. We supply these high-quality adaptors, painted to OEM specifications and at a competitive price.

Radiator Service and Overhaul

The overhaul, maintenance, repair and supply of radiators is our core business at Coxon’s. We have extensive experience with equipment from all major OEMs, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi, Atlas Copco and Mesabi.While we do focus on the maintenance of your existing parts, we also source new and rebuilt replacements where necessary – sometimes a part is cheaper to replace than repair, and we strive to provide the best value possible.

Mesabi Service Centre

Coxon’s Radiator Service is an authorised MESABI Service Centre, specialising in the rebuild of all MESABI units. A MESABI rebuild from Coxon’s Radiators will return 100% cooling efficiency to your heat exchanger every time. Our rebuilds are performed by trained fitters with extensive experience to assure strict quality standards are achieved, providing guaranteed cooling performance.We perform all MESABI rebuilds in accordance with manufacturer standards and only use genuine MESABI tubes and seals. All MESABI rebuilds performed by Coxon’s Radiator Service come with a 36-month warranty against seal leakage.

SERVICESOil and Charge Air Cooler Service and Overhaul

Along with radiators, Coxon’s specialise in oil cooler and charge air cooler service, repair and overhaul. We service all heat transfer components including hydraulic, compressor, transmission, differential and axle oil coolers, along with aftercoolers and intercoolers. If components cannot be repaired we also source high quality replacements for your equipment.

OEM products are sometimes not designed to last in corrosive environments or when subject to blasting, therefore we provide innovative and custom-designed solutions.

Coxon’s offer a variety of fleet maintenance services, including radiator and cooler maintenance for large mining equipment fleets. We can offer reduced pricing on fleet overhauls, depending on the size of the fleet. SERVICESCoolant Supply

Coolant is an essential consumable on any mine site. Coxon’s can supply coolant in quantities that support large-scale mining operations, designed specifically to replace OEM coolants and to suit Australian conditions. We can provide a simple, per litre price for coolant that includes the mandatory compliance testing, and ship large quantities direct to your site.Developed for extended service performance, our coolant has been proven to last up to 6 years / 18,000 hours for off road heavy duty diesel applications in conjunction with periodic coolant analysis testing.

OVERHAUL AND SERVICE

Our state-of-the-art workshop in Rockhampton’s industrial district of Parkhurst was purpose built in 2015 to specifically fit large-scale mining components securely undercover and enable optimum workflow for the overhaul process. Our facility has the capacity to store all parts exchange components onsite and a designated area to service light vehicles and trucks within the workshop.

Our workshop is equipped with the following: • 2 x 5T overhead gantry crane • 4T & 2T jib cranes • 3T & 12T forklift • Test Tanks including 4m x 4m tank • 4 radiator jigs • Fabrication area • Spray booth • Sandblasting facilities • Light vehicle & truck service bays (with capacity for up to six vehicles at once) • Vehicle hoists

Equipment: Caterpillar D11R and D11TJob: Overhaul radiators for a fleet of 12 dozers, to OEM specifications every 12 months. This project has been ongoing for multiple years, a testament to the quality of service that Coxon’s provide.

Equipment: Komatsu 830eJob: Coxon’s have overhauled a fleet of 20 Komatsu 830e trucks on a rolling basis as part of module change outs being performed by Komatsu. This fleet maintenance is in conjunction with our parts exchange service, ensuring maximum uptime for the fleet.

Equipment: Caterpillar 797F Nosecone Job: Coxons were awarded a contract to supply service exchange 797F nosecones for fleets of 797F trucks across multiple Bowen Basin sites. This is planned maintenance with exchange nosecones overhauled and supplied to site in 14 day intervals.

Equipment: Caterpillar 793F Job: Coxon’s have used their parts exchange system to overhaul a fleet of 793F trucks for a site in the Bowen Basin. This was planned maintenance with exchange radiators overhauled and supplied to site in 3 week intervals.

PROJECTSEquipment: Heavy Haulage Job: Coxons service a large fleet of Kenworth trucks which run throughout Queensland. Coxon’s have worked closely with this client for over 15 years, servicing cooling systems to ensure maximum uptime for the fleet as well as cost savings on fuel. As an authorised radiator service depot for Air Radiators, Coxon’s are the choice for planned cooling system maintenance on heavy haulage.

PLANNED MAINTENANCE

EMERGENCY / BREAKDOWN REPAIREquipment: Caterpillar 797FJob: A Bowen Basin mine site had an emergency breakdown with a Caterpillar 797F radiator. The radiator had significant damage to cores and steelwork. Coxon’s were able to overhaul the radiator and repair damaged steelwork, avoiding the replacement of expensive components and costly delays due to unavailable parts.

Equipment: Caterpillar 793DJob: Coxon’s received an urgent request for a Caterpillar 793D radiator from a mine in the Hunter Valley region. Using our parts exchange system we were able to arrange express freight on the weekend so that our client was operating again within 48 hours.

Equipment: Caterpillar 795FJob: A Bowen Basin mine site had an emergency breakdown with a Caterpillar 795F radiator. We were able to overhaul the radiator and return it to site within 2 days, well below the expected overhaul time; this was done by working overtime and prioritising the breakdown job. Coxon’s understand the importance of machine availability and go the extra mile for their clients.

Equipment: Caterpillar 789CJob: Coxons received an urgent request from a client in the Bowen Basin for a Caterpillar 789C radiator which had sustained significant fan damage. A replacement radiator was sent to site immediately for same day delivery using our parts exchange system.
