Ø Participation in BTV’s silk-themed documentary filming

Recently, Nanchong played host to the filming of BTV’s silk-themed documentary Decoding

Chinese Landmark. Invited to the shoot, PFGHL hopes to bring the charm of silk culture to life

through displaying and introducing the equipment environment, production process, silk

fabric, and garment production in front of the camera.

Ø Preparation for Bombyx Sericulture and Silk Exhibition Hall in process

The ongoing preparation of design plans for PFGHL’s Bombyx Sericulture and Silk Exhibition

Hall is in order. A few days ago, several leaders,

including Deputy Director He of the Nanchong City

Bureau of Commerce and Deputy Director Pang of the

Rural Agriculture Bureau of Yilong County, reviewed the

overall design plan in person and scrutinized the plan word by word. With joint efforts of

leaders and design team members, the silk-related stories of Nanchong and Yilong are

expected to be perfectly presented in Bombyx Sericulture and Silk Exhibition Hall.

Ø Construction of the organic sericulture farming base running smoothly

So far, the core base of organic sericulture farming has reached 20,000 mu, distributed in

Tumen Township and Tonggu Township in Yilong County, Nanchong City, with an ideal

development scale. Accompanied by the

deputy magistrate of Yilong County, Su

Changlong, Chen Mengkun from the

Rural Agriculture Department of Sichuan

Province, together with a group of

agronomists, came to Nanchong Fashion

Foundation Manufacturing for investigation. After witnessing the entire producing process

including mulberry planting, silkworm raising, silk drawing, silk weaving, fabric whitening,

printing, and dyeing, they expressed appreciation to the progress in development Fashion

Foundation Manufacturing has made and their confidence in the future of the enterprise.

Ø Local media visit

More than 20 local media visited the provincial sericulture industrial park of Sichuan Bombyx

Organic Agriculture Technology located in Tonggu Township/Tumen Town in July. During the

visit, presented media was impressed by the development of PFGHL’s modern sericulture

industrial park and praised the enterprise’s notion of sustainable development as well as

providing job opportunities for local people.

Ø Mr. Xu Shaolin participated in the Fifth Session of the Sixth People's Congress of

Nanchong City as Jiafeng’s representative

On June 21st, the Fifth Session of the Sixth People's Congress of Nanchong City was

successfully concluded at the Culture and Art

Center of Gaoping District. Before the

conference ended, Song Chaohua, secretary of

the Municipal Party Committee, delivered a

speech on the development of real economy

and enhancement of industrial support where he pointed out the significance of developing

real economy and “whole chain” industries. As a member of the NPC deputy of Nanchong

City, Mr. Xu Shaolin, the legal representative of Fashion Foundation Manufacturing claimed

that Fashion Foundation Manufacturing will adhere to develop organic whole industry chain

projects, enhance the value of its industry chain, assume corporate responsibilities, and boost

economic growth while being supported and led by the Municipal Party Committee and the

Municipal Government.

Ø Attending the 5th Council of the 3rd Sichuan Silk Association

Held in Chengdu, the 5th Council of the 3rd Sichuan Silk Association reported on the economic

operation status of the cocoon and silk industry across the country and Sichuan Province in

2019. In addition to members of the council,

representatives from various companies in the industry

compared notes on the subject. Mr. Xu Shaolin, general

manager of Fashion Foundation Manufacturing, gave a

speech on the construction of the sericulture industry

chain project, reviewing the company’s achievements in the organic sericulture breeding

base last year, and declared its determination to develop in face of current difficulties and

challenges.
