ThePollinationSummitwillkickoffonSaturday,May5thintheeveningfrom7:00to10:00pmatPeterborough’shistoricMarketHallwithaHoneyFair,includingatastingofOntario’shoneysandvendordisplays.ThehighlightoftheeveningwillbeapresentationbyourSummit’skeynotespeaker,MarkWinston,whoisrecognizedasoneoftheworld’sleadingexpertsonbeesandpollination.MarkWinstonisauthoroftheGovernorGeneral’sLiteraryAwardwinningbook,BeeTime:LessonsfromtheHive,andformerDirectorfortheCentreforDialogueatSimonFraserUniversity.MarkWinstonwillalsobe
availableforbooksigningofhislatestbook,ListeningtotheBees.
TheseconddayofthePollinationSummitonSunday,May6thwillbeanopportunityforthepublictoparticipateinCommunityDialogueswithMarkWinstonatLettArchitectsandtovisitsomeofPeterborough’soutstandingpollinationgardensandcommunitybeehives.TheCommunityDialogueswillexplorethecomplexityandimportanceofourroleasenvironmentalstewards
