Please Read On….

In his London home,

Mr. Darling was in a frightful temper.

Page 5: Peter Pan

He was late for a

dinner party and discovered

that the children had drawn

a map of Never Land on his dinner jacket.

Page 6: Peter Pan
Page 7: Peter Pan

He scolded his daughter

Wendy, “Of all the childish

fiddle-faddle!

Never Land indeed!”

Page 8: Peter Pan

“You’re getting too old

for the nursery,

young lady!

From tomorrow onwards,

there’ll be no more

of these

Peter Pan stories,”

Page 9: Peter Pan

Not long after,

a silhouette

emerged at the window.

It was Peter Pan

with his little pixie,

Tinker Bell.

Page 10: Peter Pan

Peter Pan had

come in search

of his shadow and

saw it flying

around the nursery.

Page 11: Peter Pan

He chased it near the

sleeping children

making

enough noise

to wake up Wendy.

Page 12: Peter Pan

“Why, it’s Peter Pan!”

she cried.

Page 13: Peter Pan

“Let me sew on your

shadow for you.”

Page 14: Peter Pan

While she did that

Peter Pan played

his flute and told

her all about Never Land,

where children never

have to grow up.

Page 15: Peter Pan

Wendy’s little brother,

Michael and John

woke up to the

sound of strange music.

Page 16: Peter Pan

Peter Pan was

testing his new shadow.

Page 17: Peter Pan

“Now, we’re ready

to go to Never Land!”

he cried.

Page 18: Peter Pan

“But you must first learn to fly!”

Peter sprinkled them with pixie dust and

instantly he and Tinker Bell were off

with Wendy, Michael and John.

Page 19: Peter Pan

After a long flight

they arrived in

sight of Never Land.

Page 20: Peter Pan

They gazed at the

Mermaid Lagoon

and the Indian camp

and Captain Hook

and his pirate ship

the Jolly Roger.

Page 21: Peter Pan

“Yes, it’s just like

I have always imagined,”

sighed Wendy

as they sat on a

cloud and dreamily

looked down at the

spectacular view below.

Page 22: Peter Pan

Now his mate, Smee,

was trying to wave off

the crocodile while Hook

Shook with fear.

Page 23: Peter Pan

Just then, Captain Hook

spotted Peter Pan.

“Prepare for action!”

he shouted to his crew.

Page 24: Peter Pan

“Tink,” said Peter,

“take Wendy and

the boys to the island.

I’ll deal with

Captain Hook.”

Page 25: Peter Pan

The pixie led

Wendy toward

Peter Pan’s hideout

in a hollow tree.

Page 26: Peter Pan

The boys went to

see the Indians and

marched off with

the Lost Boys.

Page 27: Peter Pan

But the Indians captured them.

The Indian chief bellowed.

“Where is Princess Tiger Lily?

Page 28: Peter Pan

If Tiger Lily not back by

sunset, you burn

at the stake!”

Page 29: Peter Pan

The children prayed

that Peter Pan would

come and save them.

Page 30: Peter Pan

Meanwhile, Peter Pan

was showing Wendy the

Mermaid Lagoon.

Page 31: Peter Pan

The lovely mermaids

were sitting on rocks,

combing their hair.

Page 32: Peter Pan

They waved hello to Peter.

Wendy and Peter

waved back.

Page 33: Peter Pan

Suddenly, they heard

the oars of a rowing

boat splashing in the water.

Page 34: Peter Pan

Peter and Wendy

spied Captain Hook

and Smee in a boat

with a young Indian girl.

Page 35: Peter Pan

“Wendy, they’ve captured

Princess Tiger Lily!

We must rescue her!”

he cried.

Page 36: Peter Pan

Captain Hook was

threatening Tiger Lily

into telling him where

Peter Pan’s hiding-place was, but she refused.

Page 37: Peter Pan

Just then Peter Pan

leapt up to save Tiger Lily.

Page 38: Peter Pan

Hook drew his sword

but Peter was too nimble.

Page 39: Peter Pan

He pranced around

and dodged the sword.

Page 40: Peter Pan

Finally Peter Pan rescued

Tiger Lily,

leaving Captain Hook

and Smee desperately

rowing away with

the crocodile in hot pursuit.

Page 41: Peter Pan

Peter flew swiftly to

Indian camp to

return the little princess

to her father.

The Chief immediately

released the boys.

Page 42: Peter Pan

That night there was

a great celebration

in the Indian camp.

Page 43: Peter Pan

A fire was lit and

everyone danced

around it chanting

Indian war songs.

Page 44: Peter Pan

Tinker Bell, meanwhile,

she was feeling very lonely.

Page 45: Peter Pan

She was still lost in

her thoughts of

how she could get rid

of Wendy to have

Peter to herself,

when Smee crept up

behind and tapped her.

Page 46: Peter Pan

“Sorry, captain Hook’s

orders. He wants

to have a little talk

with you,” he said.

Page 47: Peter Pan

On the pirate ship,

Captain Hook smiled

at Tinker Bell and said,

“I’ll help you to get rid of

Wendy if you tell me

where Peter Pan’s

hideout is.”

Page 48: Peter Pan

“Tinker Bell wanted to

get rid of Wendy,

so she showed Hook

the hiding place

on the map – under

the Hangman’s Tree.

Page 49: Peter Pan

At the hideout,

Wendy was singing

a song that made

everyone think

of their homes.

Page 50: Peter Pan

They were all homesick –

except for Peter.

“If you go back,

you’ll grow up.

Page 51: Peter Pan

You can never return to

Never Land,” he said.

But the children took

their leave.

Little did they

know what lay ahead….

Page 52: Peter Pan

As the children

came out, they were

seized by the pirates.

Page 53: Peter Pan

Wendy was the last

one out – she hated

to leave Peter –

and to her horror,

she saw that the boys

had been captured!

Page 54: Peter Pan

She too was tied up

and taken to the ship.

On the ship, Hook

sent a package to

Peter’s hiding place.

Page 55: Peter Pan

He sneered to Smee,

“This bomb will blast him

out of Never Land forever!”

Page 56: Peter Pan

Tinker Bell, who had

been locked into

a lantern heard

his plan and realised

that she had

betrayed Peter Pan.

Page 57: Peter Pan

She hurled herself

against the lantern,

broke it and flew off

to save Peter Pan’s life.

Page 58: Peter Pan

Peter Pan had started

to unwrap the parcel

when Tinker Bell

snatched it away.

Page 59: Peter Pan

“BOOOOOM!” the bomb

exploded.

Page 60: Peter Pan

On the ship, Captain Hook

smiled and said,

“stay with us or you

will have to take a trip to

the bottom of the ocean,”

Page 61: Peter Pan

Wendy declared.

“I’d rather walk the plank.”

Page 62: Peter Pan

To Wendy’s relief,

Peter caught her as she

dropped down.

Tinker Bell had told him

about the captive children.

Page 63: Peter Pan

Peter Pan drew his

trigger and swooped down,

Hook couldn’t believe

his enemy was still alive.

Page 64: Peter Pan

“Peter Pan! It…

it can’t be!”

he stammered.

Page 65: Peter Pan

A battle raged on

the Jolly Roger.

Tinker Bell had

released the boys.

Wendy started pelting

the pirates with stones.

Page 66: Peter Pan

On the dock, Peter Pan fought with Captain Hook

till Hook lost his balance and fell into the water right

down into hungry crocodile's waiting jaws.

Page 67: Peter Pan

Then Peter Pan asked

Tinker Bell to cover the

Jolly Roger with pixie dust.

Page 68: Peter Pan

The ship transformed

itself into a golden galleon

and soared towards London.

Page 69: Peter Pan

It was time to say

goodbye to Peter Pan…

Page 70: Peter Pan

Back in London,

Mr. and Mrs. Darling

returned home

from the party.

Page 71: Peter Pan

“Peter Pan just brought

us back from Never Land!”

Wendy said.

Mrs. Darling cried.

Page 72: Peter Pan

“Look up!”

They looked up and

saw a sparkling cloud in

the shape of a boat

crossing the

moon’s face.

Page 73: Peter Pan

“I have seen that ship

before.”

said Mr. Darling.

Long ago, when

I was quite young…”
